I think runescape should be p2p only.

I think theres nothing wrong with f2p, if it wasnt for f2p I wouldn't be playing as I'm not going to just buy a game that in all honestly would look really shit just looking at it before playing. I don't agree with adding updates to f2p Like dungeoneering though.

 

I don't even know why people still play F2P. It's so boring, if you've ever been P2P you don't want to go back to that boring old F2P.

Removal wouldn't be good either, seeing as even I started F2P (Ain't gonna buy a game for €6 a month when I'm freaking 8 years old).

F2P is kind of like the WoW free trial; you can keep on playing it, but you know you have to get the real deal for it to be fun.

 

P2P is boring as fuck, F2P all the way.

 

If Runescape was P2P only they would still need some sort of a trial version. No one would sign up for a game without testing it first. F2P does a fine job at that. Most F2Ps will likely become members eventually anyway, the others will just quit.

I think F2P should stay.

 

I say have a 2 week free trial...with a trade cap and u cant go into wildy if ur over that cap. It would work wonders on getting rid of most of those f2p botters n such that are just fucking the econemy. prices of some resourses might go up a bit.

 

people need to trial the game before they play it, i think that making it p2p, would only get rid of alot of users who play and cant afford or are to young to pay for membership.

Anyways runescape basically is p2p only anyways, theres jack-shit that people can do while f2p

 

A cap would be alright but it looks to me that jagex pride themselves on having "the worlds most popular free MMORPG" I'ts probaly what appeals to alot of people and then once they get into the buy members.

If you make it P2P only, there will be a lot of less users on it. I won't be playing it for a start. And what is this crap about F2P being boring? You get like what, 15-20 stats? And you can all train them.. what is boring about that? You guys just want the easy way, because in P2P you can actually make easier money, have easier monsters and you can level easier.

So all you want is the game to be easier and faster.
So you don't like to play the game, because you want it to go faster.

Anyway, it just stays the game where you only click with your mouse to enrichen your character.

P2P offers a very wide variety of armour/weapons.

And after all, merching/flipping is the best way to make money in the game aswell, you can do that in F2P aswell.

Yeah, the most of them are immature. Kids's ways. There is nothing wrong with F2P. Runescape goes well at the moment. Keep it up.

 

No..Runescape needs F2P to convince people to join p2p. Without it, i would never have been playing runescape. And besides, F2P makes rs some money (ads)

 

F2P acts as a great trial for those thinking about paying for it. Without F2P I wouldn't have played RS for upwards of 4 years because my parents didn't let me upgrade to members at the time. I've been playing RS a long time...
