Hey guys, Just need a few tips.

I know you're probably sick of these. But, was just wondering how many Bots i could run currently, just to give me an estimate of costs etc.

specsrocessor: Intel(R)core(tm) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz 2.67 GHz
Installed Memory: 6.00 GB
System - 64Bit

I know, i know. This gets asks on a regular basis. But, i really duno.

Now, the second part - I currently have 0 bots. I'm not 100% how it all works, Rs buddy and nexus are 2 completely different 'clients' i think they are? So, i'd need to get the RSbuddy and Nexus clients if, for example i wanted to run both Idung and PerfSW auths?

And, aswell as what are some good Moneymaking bots? I'd be starting new accounts to bot, grabbing them membership, etc. All of that aren't a problem. Just looking towards what brings in a -consistant- cashflow, as I'm quite aware everything rises and drops as the economy fluxuates.

Currently, i'm considering 2 bots. Perf SW (to bot 95 Prayer on my main. But, this can make money aswell? How?)

And a RC bot, for.. obvious reasons.

If you choose gamble when you redeem your zeals you can get some random items which will have some value.

 

Don't use a flax bot, easy ban and minor profit.

In my experience, RSBuddy clients take up more RAM than NeXus clients do. As far as the NeXus bots go (RC and SW), they are higher RAM bots (400-600 MB) as opposed to things like Sorc Garden and Flaxing, which can take up 200-400 MB of RAM. I'd say you could easily run 8 NeXus bots on there, maybe more.

 

Thank you both for the insight + i'd like more! I've got the amount of bots basically covered, now all I need to get covered is basically the moneymaking bots that are effective.
Some ways that I know now are;
Sorc garden? (not sure how. I'm sure you'll explain lol.)
any RC bot.
SW - Gambling + money SAVER getting prayer (any other ways?)
Mining? (Just thought of this. It would make money obviously.)
MageTraining? Read somewhere that its good for training magic, and can make some cash?
Smither? (those can do C-balls, right?)

 

Sorc Garden is high ban.
RC bots are good.
SW is also good but not much profit.
Mining is alright.
Magetrainingarena is low profit.
Smither/Cannonballs are good profit like RC bots.

does money from RC only happen at 91 (with nats) or, from deaths/bloods?

 

I doubt you could run 10 bots on a comp like that, I'd say 6 solid, and 8 would be pushing it.

 

I'd mostlikely be playing League of Legends / etc while botting. (Are you allowed to play on another account while botting? I haven't figured out how to multi-log.)

Mostly just looking for some good money making bots atm. Wanting to have a giant cashflow on my main as of late ^_^

 

I believe their server lets you multilog, just not into the same world.

The only good, low-ban moneymaking bots that you listed are the Runecrafter and the Miner. I would personally lean towards the Miner at the moment, since, as you said, Nature and Pure Essence prices are so close. However, after the double XP weekend in September, Pure ess will be expected to drop.

 

I'd get kMiner if I were you. 400k/h tops at Rune in Members I heard.

 

I have tons of money to spend atm. Was thinking to start, pick up either Kminer, or RC. Then, after buying an auth of both, (wanting I think 3 bots to start to run at a time, would bring in a decent net of cash per day for my main.)
Then, having 1 bot make Cballs?
I duno which bot is good specifically for turning steels -> cballs, though, with its low smithing cost i wouldn't mind making a bot for it.

So, let me know if thats a good idea to do, and of course what bot is great for basically making Cannonballs.

Edit; I think I'm going to start off with Kminer. IIRC - Cheaper than the RC bot i was after, Forget what its called, but its 15~20$? was on the reccomended stickied page,
I've seen a lot of posts saying how good mining is, especially @ LRC, etc.

Fib is exactly right. Starting out on RC ATM i think would be a little bit silly - due to the price of ess and the price of nats, Once bonus exp weekend is over with, i'll probably pick up RC and start going hard, but then ill mostlikely make a new account for it, adding another bot into the mix.
One last thing - Has anybody went to a convience store, say, 7-11 and bought a prepaid visa card to buy a bot? I'm just wondering if it would work as I don't have my own credit card yet. insight on that would be -super- helpful.

Yep, Pretty sure you can fund a Paypal with that kind of card. It also removes the initial spending restriction, so you are able to purchase things.

 

I'd say about 7 before starting to slightly lag.

Liking my scripts, a lot. although, i'm either getting really unlucky, or my teams for SW just really suck. On a 2 game losing streak. Have also had to babysit it twice. lol

 

I'd recommend running 5 RC bots. See how your computer handles it.

 

I'd estimate that you can run 6-8 bots without any real problems, Botting Skillers then selling them is a good idea.

 

I'd say about 7 no lag, and 9 laggyg
