so my step bro asked me to bot his account on runescape pm. will i get banned?

Lol, not legal? It's not a personal thing. It's a public game open to anyone. And I've been banned before for something and they showed chat logs through PM's and it showed me talking about selling an account. So, yes they can do it. Will it happen? Probably not. And no, that's no "illegal". Lol.

The account has a chance of getting banned. It just depends on how you bot.

 

It's actually depending with your type of bot that you are using. If it's trusted bot, it's highly percentage won't get banned.

 

It's their game how is that illegal?.

To the OP, you have nothing to worry about but don't get too confident now and start talking about botting/rwting over rs pms there is a chance that you could get banned, they might have a system to auto detect it (I doubt it) but there is a chance. The only way you could get banned from this as far as i know is if the person you're pming reports you.
