Am I a Racist With Music?

I don't know how to describe it; I think I may be a little racist with my music. I am pure German but fancy myself as pretty racially diverse. I have friends with most every race (we don't have black kids in our high school). Here comes the problem:

It seems that almost every singer/rapper that I listen to and like is white.
-Eminem, Wax, Watsky, Rise Against, Metallica, etc
There are a few exceptions. For example: I love Jimi Hendrix. But for the most part I hate black musicians. Hate Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Jay Z, Akon, Dre, Snoop. I don't hate them because they're black, but for some reason I am never interested in their music.

So, do you think you can be racist in the music you listen to?

Jay-Z and all those other modern day faggots have no meaning in their music that's why you hate them. I myself will shoot Lil' Wayne IRL if I see him. However, I'm in love with old-school gangsta rap such as Notorious B.I.G, Tupac Shakur, Eazy-E, ETC.

 

You just don't like their style of music. I'm sure that I could find you several black rappers that you would enjoy.

Naw you're not racist as everyone said you just don't like their particular brand, which is pretty much the brand of suck, especially lil wayne.

Also Kid cudi sucks, just another addition to the generation of useless singers.

Listen to real music, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G, Eazy-E, Bob Marley, and the list goes on.

 

Ne-yo... His quality, you should try some R&B artists and you might start to like some. But no, you're not hating for who they are, you just don't like they're producing essentially.

 

I find black artists talk more violent as white rappers have less swag and talk about bullshit they dont have. until they get rich.

 

Disagree Mr.Guthan, I think that you've been listening to the wrong sort. Black artists normally talk about lifestyle and the lifestyle they didn't have.

 

Well, most of the musicians that listed that you don't like suck anyway. It doesn't have to do with the fact that they're black.
Listen to these and tell me if you don't like them (they're all black artists)

 

Now, don't get me wrong, I love oldshool rap as much as you or anybody else does, but who are you to judge what's real music and what isn't?

Nah it's just your taste of music. NOt liking a certain rap artist or other genre doesn't make you racist.

I personally only listen to Eminem as a rapper and of course Tupac, Coolio Outkast but for those artists that you listed I also think they suck pretty hard and just wish I never have to hear them again.

Its mostly the main stuff that you hear on popular radio stations and damn clubs that are considered "Shit" music. Glad you have good taste in music though. Jimi is a legend <3
