    Hey. I got scammed by "GotMoneyShowIt." I know I need to report him and that will be done because I have screenshots of the trade but I need to know how to get my money back. We used paypal and I sent as a gift and from what I thought you can't chargeback gift, but people have told me that you can. Can anyone give me a guide some basics on how I can get my money back? Thanks. Add my msn or post here. Msn would be better due the the fact it's quicker and I am leaving later on today. Thanks guys.

    If you did it from your computer, you are basically fucked up.

    People scams charging back using a VPN so they can claim they got hacked.

    Yes, CC payments can be reversed from bank.

    Calling them to talk about it, they can help.

    Thank you very much. Called my bank and they said they can reverse it but if they reverse it AND paypal reverses it then I get double the money and I don't really wanna scam Paypal :p So I asked the guy how long I had to report it and he said 60 days and Paypal said they'd let me know after 10 so I'm going to wait 10 days and then if no luck, I'll just talk to my bank. Thanks EVERYONE for helping!

    You're lucky...

    First, report me in the RaS section

    Second, I recently called PayPal and they said they don't deal with Virtual Item trades and that they majority of the times refund the buyer. Just go to the resolution center and click "unauthorized payment" then type in your reasoning such as your cousin went on your PayPal without your permission and purchased "virtual goods." PayPal will most likely refund you for purchasing virtual good nonetheless.
