The $0.03 does not matter as much. It’s the principle. As you will see he undersent on purpose, thinking I wouldn’t act. If he shorted me, imagine what he does to randoms.

How they scammed:
Was supposed to send me $126.14 (USDT-polygon). Fees would be on me. Instead sent me $126.11 (the screenshot he sent showed that he sent a raw amount of $126.11). When confronted he instantly closed ticket and typed "cya" lol

Hi @BlackBlasses thank you for handling this. I'm not trolling. I created this report for the sake of market integrity. I posted this in the GE server to create awareness. The title is click-bait, I'll admit.

-If you read the ticket transcript carefully, I requested RPG to show me what he sent.



-As you correctly noted, I later explicitly added: “Make sure you send at least $126.14.” That message came after the earlier discussion about fees and clarifies my expectation that the net amount received should be at least $126.14.

-The screenshot that @RPGStash.com posted at 05:33 appears to show that he manually entered 126.11 as the amount to be sent, with the fee then added by Binance on top. In other words: he deliberately chose a number below the agreed $126.14 and let the fee eat into the amount I would receive.

-When I asked why he sent $0.03 less, his only response was “cya”, after which he immediately closed the ticket. That is not transparent behaviour. If his position is that "Binance took a fee and that’s fine", the obvious thing to do would have been to show the Binance withdrawal screenshot that shows that he sent $126.14 (and not $126.11). How am I to know that he sent at least $126.14 (our his end of our agreement!)

-As for the word “fees”: when @RPGStash wrote “fee on u too if not binance” at 05:28, the term “fees” in that brief message was ambiguous. And since he was the one who introduced that wording, any ambiguity in its meaning should not fall on me. Furthermore, the reasonable interpretation in a crypto context is that this refers to the on-chain/network fees needed to move the funds to my wallet. It is not reasonable to assume that this also covers all off-chain/withdrawal fees of whatever platform the sender decides to use, unless that is made explicit. I have no control over his choice of exchange or route, and we never expressly agreed that I would bear those platform-specific charges. If “fee on you” were interpreted that broadly, a seller could always shift the cost of an unfavourable platform choice onto the buyer, which is not a precedent you want to set. In short: “fee on you” should be read as covering the on-chain transfer costs only, unless it is clearly stated that it also includes Binance/withdrawal fees.
