Got started on this work this evening, took me 1hr ±.
Not finished yet, will work on details and such..

Nice one man you showed me on MSN, Can't believe it's your first one too.

 

Looks awesome, but the black strokes making a shadow effect should be reduced in opacity IMO. It makes it look like it's obviously a black brush, and not a shadow of a building etc.

Very very nice so far. Photo manips are always time consuming and are based on creativity in my book.

Goodluck and I cant wait to see the end result.

 

Try to make it look more realistic. atm you can tell it's fake. the goal of a photomanip is to create as much realism as possible (detail wise not content)

Looks like the building is floating in the air o.o

 

looks awesome, except for one detail. the statue of liberty is;
a. only in the right half and
b. not anywhere near where it should be

other than that its amazing.

 

Cool manip for a first bro, but watch your shadows and blending of objects. They seem a bit artificially placed.
