Warcraft 3 Compatibility

I Know this is a WoW forum, but I might as well ask:

I managed to get a copy of W3 by copying the game's folder off of my school's PC onto my flash drive. At home, I have a mac, so will my W3 folder I got on a PC work on a mac, or can the mac version only be installed off of the CD? Haven't tried yet since I'm on vaca right now and completely forgot about it until 5 mins ago.

 

I am fairly sure it won't work.

You can always torrent the game, or look for a buddy that has CD's.

I torrented mine and it works just fine, I play with a group of friends on a Hamachi server, it's fairly easy to set up.
