[Guide]To find out how much ram you're bots are using!

These are rough estimates all decisions are you're own.
Step 1:While botting click on the client and click "`" to open up the developer console
Step 2:Type in "heap" and you should get a number this is how much ram your bot is using.

Step 2ivide how much ram your bot takes by your total amount of ram.To get how many bots you can run.
I believe your Cpu should be ok as long as you didn't upgrade your ram

mine is using 498mb of ram.....wow lol didn't think it used that much

 

Decent guide.

You might want to add that each GB of RAM is 1024 MB. My laptop has 4 GB of ram, so your calculations imply that I can run 8 bots. I don't think it's possible, but nevertheless, thanks for the guide.

 

Your operating system will use at least a 1gb of your Ram if its vista onwards, xp is lower, and don't forget all the background processes which also use ram.

Your probably talking out of 4gb, 2.5 - 3gb of ram depending on your operating system.

1 Bot Running

 

The os iteslf takes a HELL of alot of RAM and also other background processes such as live.exe take quite a fair bit of ram also. Although im sure you can change this somewhere. i THINK i did change the ram at some point. ill look into it

 

I don't think this works. I have 10 bots running and this is telling me that I can run only 8 bots (if what above poster about 1GB = 1024MB is true).

 

That might be true this guide isn't exactly correct. I believe the ram usage is correct but the guide to find how much bots you can use may be off

I'm not sure about the whole thing. It says that I can only run 8 bots but I am running 10 bots with 2GB still free. It just doesn't add up but I don't doubt the RuneScape developer. I'll just have to find out manually, I guess.

How many bots do you think I can run with a Core i5 Processor, 4gb RAM, Windows 7 OS? Hehe.

 

6-8 bots i think. not sure
