    Need help picking the right laptop
    Looking to buy a laptop for ~$500 with a good amount of ram any suggestions?

    Will be using it to browse internet and run a good amount of programs, just the usual for the average 18 year old . I know I'm not giving you much to go off of but just link me to what you'd buy

    Need help picking the right laptop
    I don't know much about computer specs but is 4gb of ram good enough or should I pay a little extra and max the ram to 8GB?

    Just buy extra sticks and install them. IT'll be cheaper than buying it with more in it.

    Don't be. Black Tux's is better. Why would you have a computer nowadays with only 2GB of RAM?

    Need help picking the right laptop
    Seriously think before buying a mac book. Why spend $750 for an 11.6 inch screen, a lousy 1.4ghz dual core processor, 2GB RAM and a laughable 64GB storage, when you can spend $500 for a 17.3 inch screen, 2.2ghz QUAD core processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD etc.. It makes no sense.

    And the macbook is refurbished!
