    Gold Farm Help--

I posted a thread a while ago, and did a little research into gold farming since then, I've now decided to go for it.

I have a £800 budget to spend on the pc, I would probably not be buying vps's for the first month.

    I would be botting p2p.

What I really need to know is, what bots would be the best gp/hour/ban rate.
    Don't mention frosties please.

Is it possible to buy the accounts pre-made with these stats?

And how many bots would It be possible to run?

The cheapest place to buy pins for members?

Pc ideas would help too, thanks!

Lastly, what sort've money would I expect to make/month.

Ofcourse you can buy pre-made accounts, alot of people sell their accounts when they've stopped botting on them.

The most you'll get now is around 200k - 300k per hour from any bot at the most, mainly because if there is a bot that can do anymore, it gets jumped on by every botter, then they sell everything minimum price in grand exchange, which makes the price plummet along with the Gold/hour rate.

This is why alot of prices have dropped, alot.

I would recommend, LRC Mining (Kminer) - Runecrafting (Bloods/Deaths/Laws/Natures) - Summer Pies (350k/hour) at the moment and sorc garden.

All those above bots are 200k - 250k/hour, summer pies is 350k (at the moment) most likely to crash soon though

    Also, here's a very good computer build (15 - 20 bots)

    Intel Core i7 2600K Quad Core w/ 8 Threads @ 3.4Ghz - $314

    1GB ATI Radeon 6850 PCI-E VGA Card - $165

    CoolerMaster Centurion 5 II Case With 500W PSU - $60 + $45

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...7171031&cm_re=500w_psu-_-17-171-031-_-Product
64GB Kingston SSDnow Solid State Drive $125
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...m_re=64gb_kingston_ssd-_-20-139-415-_-Product

    Total: $1203

    You will never lag again.

You can really subtract $65 (-8gb ram) and $125 (-SSD) and it's even cheaper :p

Don't overlook AMD though. Good value.

Also, I suggest a different case as mine runs fairly hot (bought a h60 hydro cooling system, coming in mail).

I doubt anyone will give out any decent spots but I believe canonballs can produce around 150k\hr or so [may be wrong haven't tried its only what I have heard ]

other than that I would buy a few auths of autofighter pro and find some decent monsters to bot.

I would just take your first week or 2 to level up your accounts yourself as most people who sell accounts on here tend to scam.

as for how many bots you can run that is too hard to say because of the following:

Type of computer: amd and intel have quite a large price difference. I would personally go with amd for the fact that it is much cheaper and tend to have a better performance rate of an intel at the same processing speed.

home built or already built: this will take a decent chunk of your budget if you don't build it yourself.

What bot\scripts you run: This is a very big factor.

It will also depend if you're using your computer for botting only or plan to use it for daily use. If it's a botting computer you won't need a very good gfx card [ just don't have multiple screens maximized at once. but if its a daily use computer you may want to get a good gfx card so you can play games etc. that you may want to play.

Not a bad start, but if you're planning on using the computer primarily for botting and internet browsing, there's a lot of money you could knock off the price.

    1. Yes take off the extra 8 gb ram and SSD. That's $190 saved.
    2. Next, get a 40 gb harddrive new on ebay, $20 shipped. That's another $45.
    3. Also, you don't need a graphics card at all for botting. It will be at 0% use from the bots. $165 more saved.
    4. Lastly, go with an AMD Phenom ii x6 processor instead. The extra cores will allow it to handle multiple threads better and should bring it's performance on botting to roughly the same as the originally listed i7. (They also overclock well if you want to ramp it up and invest in a heatsink)
    That's $160

All together that's $560 saved on the build.

Thanks for all the advice so far guys, I would be using it however as a pc too, since mine's around 10 years old now and really needs to be upgraded.

I s'pose since I'm asking for a lot, I could also raise my budget to £1k, which I believe is like $1600.

Is it recommended I get the stats myself?

Also, still wondering what sort've profit I'd be making per month, say If I could run around 8 bots, a few on Kminer and a few runecrafting. Or is that being too ambitious with my current budget? I'm not really prepared to buy any vps's until I really get a hold of what I'm doing.

EDIT: Already have a 32inch screen, set me back £500 a year ago. So this would be just for the pc itself.

If you have a £1000 spending limit , you should be able to get a computer to run 15bots. One bot usually takes around 400MB - 1GB of RAM, depending on the bot, then you want a computer with a good CPU aswell.

We can't judge how much you'll make a month.

But for a 'Rough' Estimate I would calculate it yourself, saying you can run 15 bots, making 200k per hour each bot.

Lol bots use between 200-450MB ram. You would have a 6 core CPU maxxed well before you run out of 8GB RAM.

Tbh, I wouldn't advise on starting a gold farm now.. by the time you are selling your GP it could be worth $0.20-0.30/M.

And you must take into account the down time during updates, random crashes, bot getting stuck or failing on a random (happens all the time even with Nexus).

..and that's using one of the most stable scripts there is - Slade's RCer.

Basically, you think that you will be having them run 24/7 but any of the above could happen an hour after you go to bed etc.. and if you don't babysit the bots during the day, it will happen then too.

Also, you must check the profit/h yourself. I started my farm with Sorc Garden which said on the RSbots site it was 300GP/h.. its now 150GP/h

Ghraaking nats at 99 with high agility is only 250k/h

You also need to budget for multiple auths & lots of membership.

I'm not looking to make huge margins, and gp is now on the rise, :) / stable.
I'm guessing each pin for members will cost around 10m?

I've also got a few links to some gp sites who buy off me in bulk for around
    .53 :)

Yes, that is true that GP is a slight chance of going up or stable because of the NeXuS auth update.

Built a computer yourself and you'll most likely be getting most out of your money.

Basically, just look around Google to find any methods if no one here tells you their "secret" method. Before, you make any purchases (after the PC), make sure you know what you are going to bot because you'll need to buy x number of auths according to how much bots you will run so choose wisely and look for feedback on the method to see if there is any issue with the method such as mass crashing. Also, look for something that no one bots or most don't bot as that will decrease your ban chance.

Forgot to mention this, start small, meaning run 2 bots and see how it goes, then upgrade and so on.

willing to tell me your bulk buyer at .53? :b

Not a chance in hells way ;)

I was considering building it myself, but being totally honest, I don't have the slightest clue when it comes to building a PC, at best, I can upgrade the ram and graphics card, but that's about it.

Yeah I was thinking that too, have you got any methods you'd care to share DMR? :p

Same here, I use to have no clue as well on how to built a computer myself but after watching a professional made video on newegg, I noticed how easy it is and am ordering my components to make it myself.

Sure, if you tell me your bulk buyer ;)

I'm sure you have asked others for advice/ help at some point in your life. If you feel you have nothing to contribute, then don't post at all.

I also would appreciate some other good sites for cheap/quality pcs, thanks so far guys.

I used to run a couple bots making unfinished potions with a scroll of cleansing. This is about 900k - 1.2m gp/hr per bot and it definitely a less ban rate than frost dragons. All that needs to be done is get a herblore bot, sit at the G.E. and let it mix the herb weed and a vial of water.

You need to get its dungeoneering level up though, with a dungeoneering bot (GO iDUNG PRO!) to buy the scroll of cleansing, but you can try looking around for accounts that already have the 20k tokens needed to buy it. Also, you need to have some start-up cash because leveling herblore to a decent level for making the potions can be expensive. You can check this link: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Unfinished_potions to find out which unf potion would be most profitable to make.
