Introduction

Alright, since we never really said that we were done with this server here is this fantastic break through in progress. We have joined with Paul once more to work on this remake. The base is once again, coded from scratch from by our very own, very sexy, and extremely British friend Paul. The server will be open for testing whenever one of us has it up. So, you will be able to see the progress and judge as we go, the client link can be found below. We'll do our best to bring you high-quality, and sexy content as usual. Hopefully this will not be a let down but hey, we never know what will happen.

NOTE: A lot of the content done on the server hasn't been added to the project thread. This only gets updated when I feel like updating it. For example; friends list has been done but no pictures or information have been added to the thread about it. If you would like more info about the project feel free to add Paul's Skype: Sage-159.

I can't wait!!!

rs2007 turned out to be exactly what I expected; A Disappointment.

 

Hate to say I told ya so, but...

 

Can you make it the normal xp rate so it doesn't feel like a private server?

 

Yep, it'll be the same speed as old RuneScape. 4 per hit, etc.

 

Working on offence appeals for the 2006+ version of the website. Also working on parts of the 2003+ version of the website.

Yeah they always bring back a bit of nostalgia for me as well, which is why I'm trying to remake the site as best I can.

When I went to the Rs-reborn website link in the beginning post there is no way for me to actually log on and play the game. It says create a free account or Rs Reborn frequently asked questions. Why is that?

Behind the Scenes - December

Bump. ^_^

 

My main 'irk' with this is the lack of developmental commitment. You stated at the start of the thread you were back...again...then you come back (again) 2 months later. I will watch with bated breath, however.

 

Well the second time we "came back" was more of a flop. We didn't have out main developer Paul. This time around he's with us and we have quite a bit of progress already. Though a lot of it is disabled on the current server because Paul added a new content-system that handled actions and such much more efficiently.

As for my work, a lot of the website is already done. Just waiting a little while so I can release a few things in a bundle.

We're plenty committed this time. I know we've let people down before, and that's why we're so committed to bringing you the best remake possible. ^_^
