banned members posts not visible

as you no alot of people get banned for phishing advertisiing ect and when there banned there post are still visible so a ban dousnt really have an effect and it would probly help reduce advertisers and phishers because it woudnt allow there websites / phishing victims increase

 

A lot of banned members have viable posts that need to be seen still. In the minority of bans for advertisement or phishing, the posts usually get deleted. The ones that aren't deleted is because a sectional moderator applied the ban but cannot edit posts in another section. These get flagged and another mod will follow through when they see the report.

 

You have to remember that a lot of ex-staff members are banned as well, so doing this would delete like half the stickies. Advertisers and Phishing posts are always deleted. That's it.

If a post contains a phisher or something of that nature just report it and a mod will delete it when they see it.

If the post contains a link, and the poster is banned, you shouldn't click on it.
If you do, instead of reporting the post, you're just a moron.

 

I agree, dont click on links if there banned and also sometimes you need a way to find the user easily, the post would be it. Anyways, no support, sorry
