I don't care which way this goes. Either extreme is fine.

-Add it to the Sythe.org Official Rules that blankposting is NOT allowed.

-Make it allowed.

To everyone that doesn't know, blankposting is posting (not telling you newfagz hao) that doesn't show up. It's basically the 5char cheat, and your post will not have anything there.

Why - Currently blankposting is a perm ban, but isn't listed in the rules. I just did it and completely forgot about it. Luckily I'm loved. Just make it known before more drama gets started when some oldfag blankposts.

Support if something can get you banned you it should be defined in the rules.

There are a few other things that aren't in the official rules. I don't remember where. Richard posted about it, but I can't find it. Something about "Any image manipulation (infraction tags for trolling mods) and code abuse (blankposting) or something. But it's not in the rules, regardless.

 

The people here that know how to do it and that do it usually already know about the consequence. That is why we don't we don't see people doing it anymore, although I see don't see why it shouldn't be added to the official rules. Support.

Support for it to be added to the rules. If anything can get you banned, it should definitely be added to the official rules, without doubt.

There was a post Sythe made about it during the August/September shitstorm IIRC.

 

It's not perm ban-worthy IMO. Anyone caught blankposting will be infracted and continued misbehaviour will result in forumbans being issued.

 

That being said, should be added in things where you get infracted.

 

Support, it seems fair for us to know everything we can be banned for.
