My computer RAM won't install correctly?

Hello. I need some help! I recently bought 2x1GB sticks of RAM to add to me 2x1GB sticks of RAM already... I made sure they were all exactly the same so my mother board would read them.

So I have put in them in my computer and when I load up my computer, go to computer, right click and click properties it only reads this:

If you can't see the image just click HERE

My operating system is x64bit so it should read it.

    Thanks :)

Take out your old ram and see if it shows up, and run memtest.
    Could be faulty sticks

Check if your BIO detects the RAM, if it does then there could be a problem with your windows. If it doesn't, then the RAM is most likely faulty.

I've had a similar problem to that before. I bought extra RAM once which was "identical" to my existing RAM, but I kept getting BSOD because the new RAM had a slower timing and lower power requirements.

So I had to make a compromise by lowering the voltage and making my RAM timings lower on my old RAM.

did you try alternating the slots? like

    New
    old
    new
    old?

That's what I had to do to upgrade my machine from '05 when it started to take a shit.
