Is hunter a Noob friendly class

Hey everyone, so I just got WoW and I chose to be a hunter. I got to level 11 the other night and I'm starting to think If I should have chose a different class thats maybe a bit easier. If there is an easier class to learn with I think I want to start again. I presume that being a warrior would be easier then a hunter is this true?

Hunter is fairly noob friendly.

Managing your pet and whatnot in the beginning may seem overwhelming for a new player, but let me tell you that hunter is the easiest class to level up.

You ever need help with anything feel free to post here or in another thread and I'll help you out.

 

Hunter is the most noob friendly class (besides maybe a paladin). A constant tank makes questing much easier.

Oh really =\? I'm level 67 at the moment and it stills seems pretty simple from when I started. What happens later on that makes it so much more difficult?

 

Don't BY ANY MEANS let that deter you from wanting to be a Hunter. Most difficult just means you don't need the best gear to be the best. Research everything your class offers and learn all about the stats you need. I'll show you some good things to read if you'd like. I hate when people change their class to an "easier" one.

 

Easiest class? Ele shaman or boomkin (the former having complete shit dps in most circumstances, the latter being OP but you don't see them often for some reason). Hunters pull ridiculous dps and don't have a difficult rotation. Stick with it.

 

If you plan on serious pvp at 85 they're hard to master since it's the worst pvp class out there but that doesn't mean they're bad. Our cc's are difficult to master also. With the right macros playing a hunter is much easier though. It just comes down to when you're the target what defensive cds/spells to use.

 

Hunter's are a lot like chess. Easy to learn, hard to master.

If you're looking for the easiest class to level then a Ret Paladin or Frost/Unholy DK would be your best bet by far.

For high end raiding the easiest rotation is more than likely an Arcane Mage, but mana management can be tough.

 

I consider every class to be noob friendly, the only thing that makes it hard or not is how much you care about the class itself.

 

Some very good points there guys, thanks for the opinions I'l stick with hunter. I guess the more I play the more I will understand and master the hunter ;D.

 

My preference is a priest, as the easiest class. To train, its pretty simple and you can kill the monsters you need to. In a party, just relax near the back and spam heal so eveyone's alive. Theres other stuff to being a priest though, but its pretty basic.

 

Yeah hunters pretty good, it just gets a bit hard to juggle your cooldowns and focus in arena.

 

Having played a shadow priest at endgame... they are not easy.

 

That's a lie, I have an 85 hunter and it REALLY isn't that hard to use, Mark the target, Black arrow, serpent sting, explosive, ect. I haven't played in awhile but the hunter for me is FAR from a hard class.

 

Yeah but try serious pvping as a hunter and being the focus target, have fun with being a easy class.

 

hunter is faceroll, just strafe kite and spam instant shots...
