Arrested for stealing 6 36 blocks of beer

It was 2 months ago, this isn't my actual speech guys. It's just a rought draft.

 

This is complete garbage, sorry. What you did was wrong, you did it and not anyone else. Saying someone influenced you is going to make you sound even more immature and Juvenile than the judge will already see you as. Be a man and tell the truth, you stole the beer because you wanted to. Pay the fine and move on with your life.

 

Honestly, your speech is horrible, if I were a judge id feel no remorse towards you. You stole something and per my observation you're more sorry for the fact that you got caught, as opposed to what you did.

 

FYI, he didn't steal during Ramadan, he stole two months before.

OT: I think it would be better if you were simply to admit that you were wrong and that you and only you are to be held responsible. Come clean.

Just listen and take people's advice. You don't need a speech and if you have a lawyer, then he will most likely do all the talking anyways. I've had plenty of experience in court and with judges. If you make any excuses, then the judge is going to burn your ass. Your only saving grace is that you're still a minor. Honestly, there isn't much you can say and your punishment is pretty much going to be the same no matter what. It all depends on which judge you get. Some have a harsher mentality than others and usually give punishment to the fullest extent, while others are more lenient. You're guility and they have proof, which is really the only thing they care about. Even if the beer was never found, they still have video evidence of you leaving the store with it. Just relax and try to not worry so much about it. All you can really do is hope you get a good judge.

 

Put this situation into sythe for a second, and after that reevaluate things. You're basically disputing a ban that's already been committed and you can't be pardon for an offence that you've not yet taken full responsibility for. There is no reason to make any speech or a draft, they have video surveillance and you're guilty there is no sugarcoating that can be added. Toughen up and tell the judge everything, not the scenario you dreamt of happening just because you got caught.

You misunderstand me. In my opinion it's posts like mine that will make the outcome a more positive one in the long run. I do think that in some scenarios you do have to be cruel to be kind. In my opinion that is the best case scenario for the fellow; I would like to see him learn something from the whole process. If he merely gets 'let off the hook', I don't think it will be strong enough a reminder that what he did was wrong.

Apologies, but I would never support a thief, I'd rather deter them from contemplating such actions again in the future. I also think that something more than a slap on the wrist has better social and economic outcomes.

First off @ Paranormal, managers e.t.c. take into account shop keepers not spotting people trying to steal things, which then can get the staff put on a disciplinary or sacked as they are a liability to the store so your post is just down right idiotic. You are stealing from an "Individual" because everything will be owned by one person or another + you are risking a persons job through your actions.

On Topic:

I understand where you are coming from I maul but it would be better to own up in your speech rather than saying it is because of hanging around with the wrong people. If you own up, plead guilty, and explain how it is a life lesson like some people have previously mentioned, and that you will have to carry the shame of what you've done around with you for your whole life, then the judge might go leanient on you. If you try and say that it was because you were hanging around with the wrong crowd then the judge might see it as an excuse and go harder on you because it may seem to them that you have not learnt from your actions and are trying to pass the blame onto someone else.

I'm all for people doing their time and believe me I'm in no way a softy when it comes to People doing their time, but let me remind you of the purpose of this thread and this section is to make their situation better not worse

The fact that you're laughing at someone, even though what he did was wrong, is a dick move. If you have nothing to say according to the topic, don't even post.

As for OP, hopefully you learned your lesson, it seems though you're just angry you got caught, rather than what you did.

For your speech, be honest and take full responsibility for what you did. Don't bring other people in.

 

The speech seems a little too kiss ass, to be honest.

 

Get a good lawyer. Pay them well, you dont want tp fuck around with online advice on criminal issues, especially if the cops have no proof.
