What is YOUR zombie survival plan?

The thread about the end of the world got me thinking, If there was a a zombie apocalypse how would you survive?

Well first i would hope that I was immune to this disease or whatever that is creating zombies. If I am (which most people would not be) then I would take a car and whatever remaining survivors i can find to the nearest mall. I would probably crash there for a few days gathering supplies, playing with some cool shit, finding out about the rest of the world, etc. etc. I would then continue on in hopes of finding a survivalist colony. I would probably get bored there and become a rogue zombie killer. Eventually I would probably just kill myself because everyone is dead (a zombie) or hiding in a survivalist colony.

What would be your plan?

Become a zombie and eat people.

 

This, obviously.

 

Get a Armored car, full of machine guns, missiles, etc. Get a HUGE supply of food that doesnt expire or rot. Lots of water and gas. Have a safe house zombie-proof full of defensive weapons around the perimeter, ppl inside, underground sealed shut bedroom to sleep in safely. then just drive around killing zombies and looking for BITCHESSS [not zombie bitches]

I have so many neighbors with weapons, I'm up on a hill with mountain surroundings.

Basically get to an island, chill and if the zombies come, start digging my own grave.

Get a ton of food, clothes etc. Go into a huge 5 star hotel, locate myself at the top of the hotel snd sniper the crap out of the zombies, whilst enjoying the luxuries of the hotel.

 

I would get in my truck go to my family that lives near me and pick them up then proceed to the local gun store with me and my cousins guns and would either.

A. tell the gun shop clerk to either come with us or I would simply kill him.

I would then proceeed to fill the bed of my truck with amunition and guns. After this is completed I would go to our local food market or to a walmart etc. drive my truck through the front door and then proceed to block all entry and exits. after this I would make my way to the roof of the store and put each person on potrol for a certain amount of time.

 

I'd bring my Pc somewhere safe like a House which is boarded up and no one can get in. Then play Runescape while having Loads of food.

 

How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse
A Complete Guide​

So, you’re sitting at home watching some television, or playing video games, when you decide to tune in to the news. You listen closely as you hear unconfirmed reports of “zombies.” You think it’s a practical joke, but what if it’s not? You may be facing an imminent ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE.

One of the most important parts of surviving the zombie apocalypse, is being able to identify a zombie. You have your classical “Hollywood” zombie, which is commonly shown in the media. As no one knows exactly what a zombie looks like or how it acts, this is the most accurate portrayal of a zombie at the time being. The zombies commonly drag their feet behind the and tend to shuffle, due to loss of brain functions. But you must be careful that you do not mistake a zombie for someone who may have had a little too much to drink. Identifying by looks helps overcome this. Zombies are said to keep their human form, but retain any damage inflicted upon them upon being transformed into a zombie, such as flesh wounds, or missing limbs, skin, etc. Although zombies have almost no intelligence whatsoever, if they see you, or most likely smell you, they will make any effort possible to get to you. Be very cautious as zombies tend to travel in groups or possible hoards if they see other zombies following something, as they see it as potential prey.

Now that you are able to identify a zombie, you need to prepare yourself in order to survive hundreds, possible hundreds of thousands of them. During the first 24 hours, you must follow these steps:
- Fill up ANY container that can hold water, with of course, water. You WILL need this.
-Gather supplies (food, matches, etc.)
-Board up ALL windows or doors. Using something light like a sheet will save time, but will cost you when you have zombies trying to come at you from all directions.
-Create a ZEB(Zombie Essential bag, will be discussed later)
-Gather any weapons you can find that can crush a human skull.
-Create a list of all items you have (in order of importance to you)
-Create a list of items you will need (use a lot of, or are low on). This can be your personal “shopping list”

Zombie Essential Bag

This will be your most prized possession during a zombie apocalypse. You will keep it near an exit in case zombies suddenly come at you and take your base. Everything in it will help you survive for two weeks or so, and will enable you to have enough time to go restock on necessary supplies. It is recommended to have a large backpack, similar to a hiking bag, as it is designed for a lot of walking and can hold a lot. The items you should put in your ZEB should be similar to these:
-Socks -First-aid kit
-Shoes -Multi-tool
-Water -handheld radio with batteries
-Matches -Knife
-Poncho -Binoculars
-Map - Primary firearm with 50 rounds of ammunition
-Compass -Secondary firearm with 30 round of ammunition
-Flashlight -Hand held weapon
-Sleeping Bag -Signal Flares
After you have this prepared, make sure the items inside are towards the center so that it’s not leaning to the side. If it is, and you need to run from a zombie, you will most likely fall and become a zombie buffet. DINNER IS SERVED.
Area Based Survival
City – Try to avoid these as much as possible. If you think about it, there are many people in urban areas, which means there will also be a lot of zombies roaming throughout these. If you are in one, trying to leave would be almost impossible, due to a lot of people having the same mindset. Being in a city is practically suicide, but is not completely hopeless with the right skills.

Rural – It is a good idea to go somewhere rural, as there are far less people, which will mean less zombies. The only problem with this is that most of the area will be wide open, allowing zombies to easily target you and entrap you.
The best choice is to pick a moderately populated area, as being completely isolated in case of large groups will leave you hopeless. You need help in order to survive in one piece. Also make sure this area has quick exits in case the amount of zombies becomes unbearable.


Living In The Undead World

There are two main options for actually being able to LIVE in the undead world.

Travel and survive tactic – First, you need to find a car that will withstand bashing through thousands of zombies day in and day out. After finding one of these, the main idea is to travel from place to place, scavenging any supplies you can find, and hopefully any survivors to help you out and accompany you.

Defensive Fortress – After gathering large amounts of supplies, you can build a fortress to withstand zombie attacks. The best thing to do is find a large open area with plenty of room to start out small, and eventually build a very large structure or area. Before you begin building, make sure to gather enough supplies to last you and any other survivors accompanying you the remainder of your lives. Once you have this, you need to build your fortress walls, preferably ones that will actually be able to keep zombies out of your enclosure. Once you have this, slowly begin to expand with any materials you may find nearby. Enjoy the rest of your life trapped inside your zombie-free fort.

Killing a Zombie

Now here comes the fun part, being able to actually take down those zombies coming at you. Something that will come in handy will be a large bladed melee weapon. One steady blow to the head should be enough to take out any zombie coming after you. Of course, the one most people immediately think about will be a firearm, or gun. These will come in handy for killing zombies at a distance. Make sure not to waste any bullets on body shots, these will do nothing. Only go for the head, as this is their weakest spot.

After a while, you will begin to notice that you’re low on ammo, and that you’re going to need assistance from something bigger. Find law-enforcement or military assistance. Provided that civilization hasn't fallen apart, you may be able to find police or soldiers providing safety and armed protection. Always make them identify themselves verbally before approaching, to ensure that they are not zombified.

In case you do meet other survivors, be weary of them, and keep a constant watch. Sometimes, they may be the biggest threat to your survival. Other humans who want your supplies or who have lost their minds in the disaster could try to kill you. Never let everyone know about all of your supplies, and never let your guard down completely. If someone is acting mysterious or weird, consider leaving immediately.


Transportation

A key to surviving in a situation like this, transportation will prove to be very important if you need to get somewhere, or leave quickly. A car is a good choice, but make sure it is one that will be able to withstand crashing through countless amounts of zombies. The only downside to a car, is that they run on gasoline. This will eventually run out, and probably at the worst time too. You either need a way to refuel, or a second form of transportation.

Something that will travel across water will also be a good idea, as zombies cannot swim, and will not be able to come after you as long as you stay in your vehicle. Again, the downside to this is that it will run out of fuel, and leave you stranded where you will eventually run out of supplies.
A bicycle, skateboard, rollerblades, anything like this, is actually one of the best ideas. As it’s powered by your own energy, you can just keep going and going. The only downside is that it’s nowhere near as fast as any other form of transportation.

1. Get the best weapon I can find (doesn't have to be a gun)
2. Arrange for a car or a truck
3. Make my way to a mall
4. Gather supplies and a city/world map
5. Get out of the city and then locate a small island with low population
6. Secure the island and set up camps
7. Make a boat and then go back to the mainland to look for survivors
8. Send all survivors to the island
9. Slowly turn that island into a place where survivors can take refuge
10. Become the self-proclaimed leader of this new settlement
11. Make various groups which would be sent out for various missions - gathering food, weapons, securing areas, rescuing, recruitment, island shore defense, medics, etc
12. Name the settlement "Gurt" or something so that it would be known as the first settlement to be established after the Zombie Apocalypse (and have my name remembered at the same time)
13. Slowly eliminate all zombie population (this could take a while but I'd probably resort to some sort of weapon of mass destruction to get it done faster)
14. Focus on recovery of the human race (assuming I still live)
15. And lastly, before I die, I would locate the lab where this virus initially came from. Then I would get a well-sized bomb and blow both myself and the research to oblivion.

Yes, this is serious.

Get some guns and ammo, go to a Wal-Mart and barricade all the entrances, and camp on the roof. If I could somehow get a car inside, I'd use that to make my way to the next Wal-mart after all of the supplies in the first one have been exhausted.

 

first i would get some a gun with alot of damn ammo, bring my boat to the nearest boat launch, head out into the ocean and hope to find a island lol.. then live happily there, or just kill myself.. lol

 

I'm assuming everyone thinks that armored cars, guns, islands will all come free to you easily? Anyone can say "I will survive with some friends and we will have lots of food and weapons" I'll just have fun while I could ={

 

Do what I do right now which is stay underground and eat my feces and urinate into jars. No. I'm just joking I'd probably move into a grocery store with my family and board the place up.
