Weapon like whip for me ??

Hey guys.
I want to train my strength up.
I am doing Slayer to do this though.
So... I need a weapon.. price isn't a problem. I just want one with fast attack speed, high damages, low quest requirements, special attacks. Similar to a whip.

The reason I am not using a whip is it can not train Strength.

Please tell me a single handed weapon tho.. cause I have to wield shields as well etc..

Weapons I have used already:

Dragon Long Sword - Very Slow :l
Dragon Scimitar - I dont have the quest completed and too lazy to do it :3
Dragon Dagger - Doesnt even hit
Abyssal Whip - Strength cant be trained?

 

Brackish blades are the stab based equivalent of dragon scimitars. It requires 60 attack but has no quest requirement The special attack is useless, but you should be using a DDS to spec anyway.

its ur best option/or u could use a ss?

A chaotic rapier is the best for Slayer, and "a whip on steriods"

 

To be honest you should use the Saradomin sword, it is the strength training equivalent of the whip in every aspect, same attack speed, same slash and strength bonusses and also a +60 crush bonus if you wish to change attack styles. It also possesses a powerful special attack and has no quest requirements. Is the use of a shield compulsory?.. If money is no object then this is your best option, bar the chaotic rapier which would distract you from slayer training unless you already posses the requirements and S/S is not massively expensive.

 

Saradomin Sword = whip for strength.

Only problem is it's a 2h weapon.

 

Just do the quest for a dragon scimitar otherwise use either a brackish blade or a saradomin sword.

I agree with Determinate. Just do the quest or buy a Sara sword. I got 99 strength with SS you don't really need a shield if you buy good armour.

 

I'm surprised you haven't thought of using a Saradomin Sword. Same statistics as an Abyssal Whip, but it has a Strength option along with being a two-handed weapon.

 

Saradomin sword is the best wep to train str fast.
If you're poor buy brackish blade

 

Saradomin sword. You can Str easy and it hits higher and has higher max hit, its 2h. but you don't need a shield unless your fighting dragons.

Either a brackish blade or a Saradomin sword. The Saradomin sword is two handed, but stronger than the brackish blade, so it's really up to you.

 

Sara sword is alright, but I personally hate it. Can't wear a shield which is also a disadvantage.

I would just do monkey madness to use a dragon scimmy. It is pretty good, and you can get some experience bonuses from completing the quest as well.

 

Brackish blade, if you are not using a shield, wield a dragon defender.

 

Bandos GS, has a higher damage per second rate than Sara sword or whip

 

BS, for bosses maybe but definitely not for slayer.
