Some problems, really need help.

So yesterday i did a order for a good friend of mine, nehkz.
He payed me a nice amount to do him all the medium, and easy f2p quest's.

Before that, i also fixed him priest in peril, and all fired up.
So when the order was done, i recieved my money, and he couldnt login to the account.
It said wrong username and password, but i really didnt touch anything about the account else then needed.
Could it be possible, because the account switched in a short time, to different IP's?
Me and Nehkz thought about that, but isn't it more logically that the account is locked then?

Did anyone else had this before, or experience with it?
Do we have to worry, or is it just a glitch, gone in some hours?

Well if you were on it and he can't log in all of a sudden, my first thought would be that you scammed me...

Haven't heard of this happening before though.

 

It's not locked, it just says wrong username and password

And determinate, i know this guy for 2 month's now, we're friends.
I already refunded him the money, and i want it back if it turns out everything is alright.
If i hacked it, i don't get the money back, which means i did some hours of questing for free, because there wasn't really any value on the account.
Hes offline now, maybe he already got it back, we'll see.

 

So he scams and then posts on Sythe? That's not likely..

Maybe he changed the pass... so all this would happen and he would get free questing?

Your account won't guess it's pass changed for loging from 2 ips. It won't even be locked.

Either he changed the pass, or also sometimes there's a bug with the login system. Can either of you login in the runescape site?

 

Your friends pretty smart, he just made you do questing for free.

You got scammed, never heard of the account being glitched, if it wasnt locked, he changed the pass.

 

Kinda a gravedig, but i feel need to defend my friend.

He already payed me before he told me the password was incorrect, no way he was scamming, or tying to.
Neither him or i could login, but everything is solved already.
He recovered the account, everything was fine, and i got my money.

 

Then I guess we can say this is resolved, and close it.
