    Price of rares next year?

Just a fun little topic on what you think the prices of rares will do over the next year. I personally think that the prices of the higher priced items like phats will stay close to the same maybe going up a little but not much, while the lower priced items will continue to rise. What do you guys think will have the largest increase?

Due to the fact that botting was getting heavier and heavier and money kept becoming of easier methods to gain, the rares went up because the people who did heavy gold farms, had plenty of money to spend. Due to the recent Nexus client update making you only able to have 1 account botted per paid auth code, I believe you're going to see a lot less botters, which means prices will be dropping. You still have to take into account RSBuddy's scripts and the free scripts that are floating around everywhere but RSBuddy was talking about doing the same thing as RSBots and free scripts aren't very good. I dont think the white partyhat will be dropping from 2.1b - 1b in a day but partyhats might possibly be dropping eventually. If you see a drop of over 150m, I'd say it's time to drop your partyhat before the market gets completely trashed.

That's mainly what I also drew my conclusion from. A lot of things can influence this. Lol I'm exited to see others opinions. Also has anyone heard of any estimates on the number of any given rare still in/game?

    Price of rares next year?

The prices of the lower rares are dependent on hoarders like the Phat hoarders. People with massive amounts of GP need something to do with the GP so they buy all the lower rares. When a bunch of rares are sitting in a bank and not getting sold this creates a higher demand which will allow the sellers to sell for higher prices. When you see Santa / Mask prices drop it's often because hoarders sold a majority of their stock, creating less demand in the market and lower prices. There is no way to accurately predict long term rare prices because of free trade.

If you mean by 12 months from now, i think all phats will reach well beyond 2b+

Santa will be around 250-400m, and masks rise around 100-250m each as well.

Slow rise from inflation. They'll only dramatically go up, if there's a sudden demand for them, which seems unlikely at the moment

prices will only rise even if they drop they will rise and continue even further because the supply is no more so they can only get destroyed such as alching banned etc

They will rise over time. Always.

Though, I don't think they will double in price or anything close to that. I can see rares going up by around 10%. Nothing higher though.

I don't know, against everyone here saying that they'll go up i think at some point they may drop because:
1- They could try to do something about bots, meaning less money will go in the game and they may drop.
2- They could release a skill or a way to drain money from the game, less money they go down.
