Buying back banned accounts from jagex

$30 isn't too bad, expected much worse

 

Mine was around $30 in membership, stats and wealth were kept the same when I got it back.

 

How can you get it back? Do you email them or something?

 

Mine was 30 dollars in gamecards and then a roll back that got rid of my cash stack (90mil+) and cut all my stats' exp in half.

 

Kind of dumb they allow it to be done, you've broken our policy and broken the rules, but give us a bit of money and you can stay, doesn't seem right imo.

OT: I dunno how much it is, can't imagine it being over $50

Actually, I assume the unban fee is simply to cover the cost of going through all of those bans, since whatever time they spend on BAR takes away from development and other portions of the site. Even then, it doesn't seem like enough to motivate them; if they actually made anything worthwhile, they'd be further into it.

 

This is a good scheme by jagex, however i would never pay that much. Its ridiculous how they can let people back into the game like that. Talk about trying to make the community worse, eh?

 

yea they will put your membership in a negative balance so youll have to pay that back before you can play.
And yea as stated before, it was availible from when the free trade came back out

How do you actually come to get the option to buy back a banned account?

 

Just to confirm, a mate of mine spent $30 USD to retrieve his account. It was wiped clean, no stat rollover however.
