Arcus Isidar ~ My Ban Dispute

This was really a series of unfortunate events that took place.



***First and foremost, I am waiting for Kyle or N4no to come on and facilitiate me paying back this kid, although originally I was planning to pay him back even if it was an imposter, as no one deserves to be scammed (I really had no idea this took place, im bewildered as to what went down).***


This involves "Aimless" who apparantly got scammed by the email [email protected] - an email I've never used. There is evidence to suggest that I edited my own signature with that *wrong/imposter* email, however, there's no way in the world it was me who did that, I haven't edited my signature since I put in that GFX, nor do I have [email protected] as an email in my posession.

At first I thought I mistakenly always had "[email protected]", as it seemed like the only possibility, but soon found out that it had been deliberetly edited and I think I may have had someone else log in my account - change the emails (possibly in my threads too?), pull off that scam, and then change it back when they logged out.

This is really a bizzarre case, although my password was fairly weak (plan to change it if I'm unbanned to something much more secure).

At that point, I was still in beleif that it could have been my own stupidity and that it always said "hushmail" in my signature, by mistake however now the facts lead me to beleive someone guessed my password and used it to their advantage.


Background information:

-I have traded on Sythe for a few weeks now, and very much enjoy my time here. I have worked very closely with traders such as Video - who has MM'd about 6 trades for his application for me worth several billions in total.

-I have had some good deep conversations with Viou (especially last night). About things that I don't care to repeat but I'm sure he can vouch that I'm the last expected person to scam anyone.

-I have had several trades worth $1000 trusted up front, was vouched for them and always paid in full and promptly. MANY MANY trades worth over 1B+ I have been trusted upfront and always paid, never a problem.
Regardless, I have provided some of the fastest smoothest trades on Sythe in the eyes of my customers.

-I have donated $300 to Sythe in gp relatively early in my time on Sythe and was planning to be the only $1000+ non-mod donor, as I really am not driven by profit in this business, but respect and helping out as many people as I can.


I know the evidence is bad, but a closer look at the IP's involved (if possible) should clear me of any wrong doing, I have yet to affect the Sythe community in a negative way and plan to keep it that way if given the chance.

I understand a TwC is warranted, but I'd gladly change my Sythe password to something much more obscure to prevent this. I have been trusted upfront with large amounts and have never scammed.

 

I would like some input by FireZ on this. Karl said that he made his RSGP donation through you with the @hushmail email. If you could confirm/deny this, it would be helpful. Also, he used me as a MM to pay back Aimless, knowing that it would in NO WAY guarantee him an unban. It was a "show of good will" as I guess you can call it.

I'm awaiting a reply from FireZ supporting/denying the statement karl made before I make any type of decision.

 

I am posting this on Arcus' behalf.
I have done many trades with him with both rsgp and graphics, I don't see him doing these things as he has always seemed like a very friendly guy and always payed me well for everything I did.
Please, have a good look at this!

 

Spoke with him on MSN for a little while, as well as reviewed his chat logs and such via teamviewer. He spoke to Firez on his advertised MSN ([email protected])

Looking for further input on this, but I'm thinking unban/TWC as of right now, unless more info is brought forward.

 

I honestly thought it was hushmail. Anyways I support an unban with twc as well.

 

Not comfortable with an unban considering:

 

IP also matches several banned users.

 

I checked his current IP and it was clean, however I didn't do a broad search. That's one thing I neglected to do.

Karl, last night you were saying that I had 2 clean Ip's and 1 dirty one, and upon further research which I can talk to you about. I am able to say that the dirty IP is the same IP as the kid I beleived was able to guess my password and do this. I am 100% sure that the IP that you told me was dirty, is the IP of the kid I know. I will explain if you can get on msn.

The ip range must cover a larger area

Another bump as I really want to help him, he's in deep troubles and wanting to pay his medical schools, please look into this!

Posting on his behalf.....

Literally every single post on my account (or 99%+, i didnt notice any post out of ordinary) was made by me (do a random sample of like 20 of my posts and they'll all turn up me) . The only way the dirty ip could be on my account is if it shows the IP that can edit signatures/threads (he said he only edited my buying thread and my sig).

This has been a very hard time for me and cody,
and he realizes he fucked up hard on me. He's willing to do whatever it takes, as if im not unbanned he's paying me the $300 donation ive made to sythe that is now wasted. If it comes down to it, I can take a video of me showing my ip and then driving to his house (5 mins away) and video him going to it, proving mine and his ip are not on the same exact location.

After reviewing the matter, I believe it is safe to conclude that Arcus and Cody are different people. Furthermore, I do not believe that Arcus was involved in the scam carried out by Cody, simply because orchestrating a self-impostoring hacker seems rather unnecessarily elaborate.

In short, I do support an unban.

However, given that arcus has (albeit supposedly unknowingly) traded vouches with one of Cody's aliases in the past, I believe a TWC is necessary.
