Hello, I am here to ask about VPS'.

I am looking for a good value vps, which I can run rs-buddy bots on.

I will probably be using around 20+ bots, however this doesn't matter, I can just buy 4 VPS' that run 5 bots each.

What is a good value website?

How many bots can I expect to run per gb of ram?

Well that JUST became an option..

I still pick Photon over Seer any day. Just my oppinion though. As is yours for choosing Seerhost. Each of us has our own oppinion and will stick to it, nothing wrong with that .

Honestly, I don't know what to do with that text but the error showed up when I was trying to do sh install mac-linux.sh and you have run-linux.sh up there :S

 

You put that in putty and just replace run with install...

 

Heres what I got: Typed the first line into Putty and I guess it took me to the botclient folder in Putty. Btw, I had to type in "NeXus" with a capital X because it's cap sensitive.

Second line, all good there. Changed run-linux.sh to install-mac-linux.sh

Third line is where I need a little help with. Typed in " sed_-i_'s/1000m/178m/g'_install-mac-linux.sh" (the underscores are meant to show spaces). After I typed that in, the next line was blank and after trying to update the bot, I still got the same error message.

 

What VPS company are you using?
Try opening install file with notepad and put -Xmx512m after java so it's like java -Xmx512m, if it doesn't work, replace with 400, 300, 200 etc. Try redownloading it.
Also might sound stupid, but when I had similar problem I just double clicked it on VNC instead of typing sh command and ,guess what, it worked :L

 

I am using ThrustVPS, I think.

I tried redownloading it and now I get this error instead.

How long does the trial last for?

 

You probably don't have enough ram to succesfully run bot, or thrust oversold space so you don't get enough.
