Would very much like to see a Cooking and Recipies section under the Off Topic forum. I beleive it would be a great addition and be active, people could post recipies and have them stickyed or just talk about a meal they head a restaraunt.

I support this, it can have cooking guides, recipes, general discussion about food.

Actually a good idea in my opinion.

A section should not be created to promote discussion of a specific subject. A section should be created if the subject is already popular within the community, and requires an individual section for itself. Once we see that there's actually a considerable amount of cooking threads going around, we should consider creating a section for it. As of now, there aren't really any cooking-related threads and there's about two slightly relevant threads alive.

If you want to discuss food, take the matter into your own hands and create a thread. If it isn't popular, you can draw conclusions of your own that the section isn't needed at all.

Jei Jei is right. Nevertheless, it's a good idea, and I'd love to see/read some recipes. I'll ask my dad for some nice recipes, and I'd like to see some nice results from the section.

just keep it in general discussion or something for all not that big of a discussion for recipes/ cooking to create a section on it.

No support, the section itself would be dead.

Instead I would rather see the guide section some back, where you can put cooking guides into. We have 3 OT moderators now, that should be enough to manage an extra sub-forum.

Support! I'm an avid cook, and I would absolutely love to share my recipies, and learn from other people. Probably won't need to be a whole section dedicated to it, but perhaps a subsection somewhere in off-topic. I would love to see this happen!

No support. We need main subjects for sub-forums. If random topics like cooking gets added, then that means EVERYTHING else has to be added as well.

Basically what he said. If it were to be implemented I'm not foreseeing a lot of activity to be honest. However, the old guides section accommodated recipes, and I'd like to see it return personally.

Use General Discussion. I HIGHLY doubt it would be active, if cooking really takes off in that section, than we can consider it.
