Can i get banned for this?

Hey so today i looked in the trade chat and saw some dude advertising for SeLLING the celestial steed/Winged guardian mount codes aswell as the pets. So i then bought a winged guardian mount. I went first gave him the money and to my surprise he actually produced the goods. I then confronted him and said can i get banned for this? He says no but theres a slight feeling in my head.

My question is can i get banned for it? Also say he was selling it and then someone scammed it would blizzard care about that either (Didnt scam but personal curiosity)

Pretty sure you can't. As long as the item is paid for on Blizzard's end then it should be fine.

Beware of these guys though, I've seen a few on my servers that are selling "Gametime or X53 Rockets".

What they do is buy it, act trusting, go first, give you the items take the gold then they call the credit card company, canceling the money and you get screwed over.

Also, if you're to get scammed by someone like that, there's nothing you can do to get your money back.

The most trouble you get into is that Blizzard removes whatever you bought, as it happened to my friend.
