Do not allow sales of "replica" headsets

Before we begin, let me clarify two things. First of all, Replica = Fake.
Secondly, this is mostly about the many sales of Dr. Dre headset "Replicas" in the non-virtual items section.

Let me point out some reasons.

-There are MANY different "scales" of "replicas". Some sound almost like the real ones, some are more fragile than others, some are put together better or worse, etc. These obviously change the value, but there's no way to determine until you receive the item and put it through wear and tear.

-There's no set "value" on these items. People can promise that they're "nice," but the worst replicas that can go for $5 on street corners can be listed here for the $100 "replicas" that are almost exactly the same, and there's no way to know. Most items that are sold have an actual new item value, but since these items are counterfeit, this isn't possible.

-It's not good rep for the site. Check out their official site. They have a section just for sites that commonly trade or sell "replica" products. Do we really want that kind of name for Sythe.org?

These arguments can go for other replica items, but these are the ones that are very commonly traded.

I see no problem with replicas selling as long as it's well detailed and explained the differences, and specs.

There shouldn't be a problem with selling them if the person clearly stated that they are fakes.

The true problem comes in when someone claims their fake items are fake.

Instead of following your suggestion, I think we should require people to post pictures that would prove the item is NOT fake. Ways to do this with beats are to take pictures of the box, and the inside of the battery cover for starters.

I think you meant "Fake items are genuine"?

And I also see no problem with it. After all, Sythe is a blackmarket is it not? As long as the buyer has a clear understanding of what he/she is buying.

Selling them as real should be considered scamming and thus a bannable offence.

I completely do NOT support. If someone tells the buyers they are fakes/replicas, Than it should 100% be allowed. Its just like selling anything else. There is no way this will ever get approved or that would just be stupid. By doing this people will just say they are real instead of being legit and saying they are replicas. Meaning more scams will happen if this is approved. This is not a good suggestion. Sorry.

No support as long as they say they are replica's, but they should give details on who made them, etc.

I agree with there are many different kinds of replica's, and I think someone selling $5 replica's for $50+ should receive a TWC.

    I don't support this.
To me as long as the seller state that they're a replica; it should be fine. :]

True that, If a buyer knowingly purchases a replica I sure hope he/she knows its just that. A replica is a knockoff of course its not going to be the same or sometimes not even close.

    Sometimes?
How do you know when those times are?
Which is a great replica and which sucks?

Let me put it this way for people that have no clue what these are anyways.
It's like buying a runescape account that you don't get to see the stats of until after you buy it, you just trust their word that it's an "epic" account.

I don't agree with this. There are many replica items out there and if Blade said to me "he dj wanna by my replica Oakley sunglasses they look legit" And I bought them it's on me. If he said they were legit ones and I got them and found out they were fake then I'd consider it scamming.

Golden rule if it's detailed to be replica, they are fine if they sell something as genuine then we have a problem.

Even if a new rules were to be implemented restricting the sale of 'replica' items, there is still no 'enforcement' behind the rules as people may still easily sell replica items as the genuine thing.

However Sythe.org can update this rule just to show signs of an opposing attitude towards replicated items/products.

But as I stated, it would simply be too difficult to enforce.

And plus any purchases or transactions made are at the buyer's decision, not at Sythe.org's fault.

No support, if they clearly state on their thread the fact that it is a replica/fake then I seen no problem with the selling of these items.

Saying something is a replica dictates that the item is not the original. In fact, i think the riskier proposition is to allow name brand sales in the first place as the items that are claimed legitimate could in fact be replicas. Anyone who states their item is a replica is being honest. If replica sales were banned, sellers might conveniently start to forget to mention their item is a replica.

I see no problem with these sales.
