How did you find out about RuneScape?

I learned of RuneScape back in early 2003 from a friend I went to school with and played right up until Free Trade was removed.

Brother played, saw, joined.

 

People were playing it in the library and I asked them what it was.

 

Some kids in school told me about this great new game they found. I joined them in '04 but didn't really play a lot until '07 and the removal of Free Trade, played until the end of 2010.

 

Miniclip? I don't remember, really.

 

i think it must have been in like 2003ish, some freinds of mine played it and were talking about it and i was like what's that your talking about? and they told me about it and after school i went home and made an account and added them etc

 

I found it at school when I was on miniclip, and some friends told me to go on Runescape.

 

Heard kids talking about it in school in 2003 right as they were offering bank transfers from RS Classic to RS 2. I decided to start playing and went 5 years straight. After that I started to play on and off.

 

A friend showed me in late 2001. I was over at his house and I made an account (still have the account too). Now my botted account is better than that account i made back in 2001, it has more play time on it and the botted account is only 3-4 months old.

 

In 2004-2005 I was at a friend playing some miniclip games, and at that time runescape was the #1 game there. My friend had started a few days earlier with rs and introduced me to it. (few other friends were playing aswell already)

 

Saw my brother playing, started playing myself and enjoyed it this was back in 05

 

In 2003 searching games on google I think, played for 2 years until my account was permanently banned, used to be a big staker, made a perfect stake account a few years later, staked a week then they removed free trade.

No idea why but decided to come back to runescape 2 weeks ago and recovered my account that was banned 5 years and 4 months ago, botting him up to max to begin staking again even though the arena is fucking stupid and shit now.

Only played RS for staking and only am now.

 

My brother told me about it. I played since it came out till 2010.

 

Friends at school played. They asked me to play. I started playing. I quit 6-12 months later. 6 -7 years later, I saw potential in botting. Now, I've quit, most likely forever.

 

My friends in Elementary school introduced me to RS back in 2005.

Nah. I think I found it on a random Yahoo search in 2001. "Free mmorpg" or something. To be honest, I can't remember at all since it was almost 10 years ago.

 

My friend showed me it in June 2006, played non stop for 2 years but now I just go on occasionally.

 

Bunch of my friends started playing it in like 8th or 9th grade. Decided to start playing, most of them quit soon after, I kept playing.

 

Way back in 02-03 some friends in school introduced me.

 

Same with many of you, I heard about it from friends in 2004, I played it on and off for about 3 years and then just left it. I recently picked it back up last December, I don't play anymore besides the occasional Castle Wars game, but I do bot quite a bit.
