Ok before i start this i would like to apologize if this in the wrong section, wasn't sure if this was supposed to be in the 'Music discussion' sub forum.

Music is all around us, in fact it's almost everywhere. Whether its those annoying neighbours that are blasting the same song over and over or you're on the dance floor just having a good time.
It comes in different genres, whether you're into the whole rock & roll scene or it's smooth blues.

    My question to you is

    - Has music changed who you are?

    - How often do you listen to music?

    - Are you a earphone kid like me?

Myself personally i think music has made a big impact in my life i enjoy all sorts even recently have got into the classical music scene.. i find it wonderful that music my brain told me i wouldn't enjoy is acutely pretty damn good.
Whether it be taking the dog out for a walk or simply going for a stroll my earphones stay with me. I have labelled myself the earphone kid.

    Thank you for reading.

    A very interesting thread.

    - Has music changed who you are? Hasn't changed who I am, but has changed the way I see things and changed my mood when i was in a certain position in my life

    - How often do you listen to music?
Not going to lie. I only don't listen to music when i'm at school or when i'm out with friends. I walk to school with my earphones in and when i'm at home doing everything besides studying and eating the radio is on. Some nights i need the radio on if I can't get to sleep

    - Are you a earphone kid like me?
I'm a earphone kid when I'm walking or riding my bike. But other than that i prefer my music loud from my speakers

I find it fascinating how one song can completely change your mood and how you are feeling.

Music hasn't changed who I am, but has definitely shaped who I am. I've loved music since I was a baby. My parents have old VCRs with me dancing along to Blue Oyster Cult when I was a few months old. I grew up listening to a lot of rock, metal, dance, pop, acoustic etc.

I listen to music whenever I can, which is pretty much always.

I wouldn't say I'm an earphone kid. I usually just listen to music on my speakers when I'm out, as I'm with other people and it'd be a little antisocial to have earphones in all the time.

Definitely, music has a big effect on me and how I feel.

Everyday, probably around 4-5 hours of it.

I don't like earphones, I like headphones or speakers.

A lot of what I have been listening to lately has been eye-opening. I guess the older I've gotten the more I can appreciate what a beautiful thing it is.

I'm at 62 tracks per day on last.fm, so not a lot. :p

Nope, only when I'm on my daily travels. Other than that it's all on my laptop.

I love music, its always been my escape from reality, but i hated music class in school, and even though i cant sing for bees wax i sing 20% of everyday just because i love it and it feels right.

Music is in us all, the innoncent and the worst of evil, music will always be there.

To put it very cliche, music is my life. It's really the one passion I actually have. Nothing frees my mind of stress and worry like strapping on my guitar and strumming away for hours. I've finally decided I want to pursue a career as a musician, since it's pretty much the only place I see myself being happy with in the future.

And for the second question, the answer is yup. I'm a earphones kid. Everywhere I go, got my Zune in my pocket just in case I get the opportunity to wind down and plug in somewhere and just enjoy my music. I almost always listen to music before I go to sleep.

    Can't live without it.
