Also concerningly they admit to collecting Account login credentials within a section of their site (https://kraken-plugins.com/privacy-policy#).

For those considering purchasing plugins, there are many trustworthy and reputable providers in this space. Whether or not you choose our services, please remain vigilant and avoid developers who demonstrate unethical or unreliable behavior.

We will be revoking his access to our products and servers, as he has broken our Terms of Service (https://osrsplugins.com/static/Hydra_Tech_ToS_1_Dec_2023.pdf), specifically sections 2 - Intellectual Property Rights & 8 - Prohibited Activities

We invoke our right to terminate our services with this user as per 15 - Terms and Termination.

 

Hello, Clax is correct in his findings. I did reference Hydra's website for examples of some of the legal pages, as well as thumbnail images found via google image search. I apologize for using the IP without asking or referencing the owners. I've gone ahead and updated the website to remove any Hydra related thumbnail images, refactored the legal pages, updated the client logs document and am in the process of reworking the launcher and bootstrap patching process to avoid plagiarism.

If I missed anything on the site please feel free to let me know so I can change and update it. Apologies again for the violation.

 

I did use the code for persisting user configuration (memory opts etc…) and fetching a json file for the bootstrapped dependencies.


The logic for the launching process using reflection launcher, checking injected client versions, and merging dependencies was written for Kraken specifically.

I’ve since reworked all the logic in the launcher to be completely unique (not just changing class names).

That being said, all things considered, the ban and removal of the plugin ad on the forums is probably warranted.
