How Should I appeal this Manual Permanent Ban?

I was able to recover my friends account from ages ago, but it has a manual permanent ban and I have no idea what it was banned for? They will not show me any evidence


What should I write in appeal?

Should I say customer service made a mistake or that someone had access to my account?

 

You could try, you got nothing to lose, just make up something, say you're sorry etc

Jagex doesn't read appeals.. you can try though.

 

I disagree, they may take a while. But they get round to them eventually, though it's usually a DECLINE DECLINE DECLINE...

I'd ask your friend, and if he can't remember, apologise and say something about it being a while ago.

 

Appologize is the best way to go. Let them know how long it was ago, etc etc. Give them the imprecion that your intention is to play the game legitly now, as you miss the game and would like to start playing again. Something in that way.

 

I tried this with one of my friends account and i made a pretty good appeal and it got denied. I do believe they don't read appeals must of the time.

 

Just make up a story, chances are it will be declined though.

 

this has happened to me except i was so far over the ban limit. i ended up getting a second chance by appealing it and saying that no further offences will be made if they give you a second chance. doesnt hurt to try just sharing my story and hope it helps you

I am writing you to try and understand why my account was banned while I was in Iraq. I just finished serving a six year tour with the US Army (1st cavalry second platoon) and came back to find my account is banned, and I'm not quite sure why. I'd appreciate some explanation, and truly hope we can work this out. I am unsure if I was hacked, or if I did something to earn this, or if something else happened.

This ^ is your best bet. Especially if the account has been inactive for a long time. However, I've had pretty much the same exact thing happen to me with a manual permanent ban (from 2006, mind you) that I appealed in 2009 when they revised the appeal system. I got two appeals, both of which were denied. I pride myself on being able to write a halfway decent appeal or two, so I'm not sure how much faith I have in the content of your appeal actually mattering. Worth a try though, I guess.

 

Highly doubt it'll get accepted but, just try apologizing and mentioning that it happened along time ago.

 

If they don't show proof, it was probably because he was botting.... go to that one unban thread on the RS forums, and post the account, maybe it'll get unbanned
