    Hey guys,

    Edit: I mean BOT Farm, any mod please edit it!! (< LOL!)

    I have been considering running a Bot Farm for making GPs long time ago, and I actually need your advice guys.


    I have the following:
    • Very Very Big Budget!
    • Three computers at my home (which I own) each is Core 2 Duo with 1 GB RAM.
    • There is no limit on the Bandwith I use.

    The point is,
    How many bots can I run on my computers?
    What are the type of bots to use? (Nexus, RsBot, Rsbuddy, EpicBot, etc..)
    What is the the thing to bot for money making?
    Is there a high ban rate?
    I know a VPS which costs around 15c/Day (512 MB RAM, Windows XP) shall I be using those?
    How much money per each million I farm?

    Depends on how often you plan on restarting the computers I guess. With low RAM though I would recommend doing a quick reboot every so often.

    The point is,
    How many bots can I run on my computers? 1-2 bots per computer with 1gb ram
    What are the type of bots to use? (Nexus, RsBot, Rsbuddy, EpicBot, etc..) I highly suggest nexus client
    What is the the thing to bot for money making? combat and runecrafting
    Is there a high ban rate? there is a ban rate for all scripts, frosts is highest runecrafting is low if done right
    I know a VPS which costs around 15c/Day (512 MB RAM, Windows XP) shall I be using those? No, that is not enough resources and windows sucks use linux
    How much money per each million I farm? prices vary from buyer to buyer, roughly .50 per mill now your a bit late for the 1.00 mill craze after free trade

    2 bots on each computer at the max.
    Use RSBuddy or neXus.
    Great Orb Project (needs 50+ RC) for F2P, LRC (80+ mining) for P2P.
    Only in F2P to be honest. But no, not really.
    It'd be a waste of time.
    Probably around .35/M. Make sure you sell to a major reseller like video or Viou.

    3 bots per computer on nexus, first train combat until they're lvl 20 something then powertrain some skills ( ie mining but drop ores ) and then goldfarm, this way youll be alot more successful than making a lvl 3 army.

    Be aware, I've heard a story of a guy who wasted 50 bucks on a botfarm. He got members for each bot, and they all got banned.

    People who are saying you can run 3 nexus on 1gb of RAM have no idea what they are saying. A bot takes around 400mb of ram minimum, bursting higher once in a while. If you plan on making a botfarm, 6 bots isn't going to get you anywhere, invest in vps's.

    1 GB of Ram is nothing....all three of your computers combined are worse than my desktop alone, :S. Just purchase a VPS and run your bot farm there.

    Buy as many servers as you can, each with 8GB = 12 bots, run sorcgarden bot 24/7.
