    I wouldn't...I would see no point. I assume anyone that would want to buy it would just have the assumption they can resell it for more than they got it for.

    I'm sure Jagex keeps a close eye on his account. If the IP changes, they are going to know something is up. So, any money spent to purchase the account would be potentially lost.

    This. It would be stupid to buy his account because it would most likely get banned straight away.

    If that were not the case, I'm sure some rich kid would spend around $5000 on it.

    If it was the username only, I might drop some cash for it. For his actual account, there's nothing else to do on it so I wouldn't waste my time.

    Wouldn't buy it, tbh. As stranger has said, with the IP switch, jagex will lock the account, and you wouldn't be able to use the account.
