Ghosts: Do they exist?

What do you mean by ghosts, dead people?
I believe me grandparents are still with me, in a 'higher force'.
But not that ghosts exist, also i don't believe shows like Derek Ogliville, or w/e his name is.
And i don't believe programs showing ghosts exist or w/e, it's all a setup.

 

Bunch of stories with pretty much no real proof to back them up.

Until the time comes when I see a ghost, I do not believe in them.
After all, seeing is believing.

That brick doesn't even move like a brick should if "something picked it up." It looks so fake. This guys stupid software is only showing whether it's thrown or picked it, then somehow determines there is no string. But string isn't the only thing that could be used to make this brick move.

Well, at times during the night, when I'm half awake, sometimes I see a quick glimpse of something I think is a ghost.

But then again, it could just be a figment of my immagination as I am not fully awake.

 

This is nice of you to tell us, because this is exactly why we believe in ghosts, as humans. The thing that happend here with you and your friend was that you were so scared that something WOULD happen that your mind started to be extra alert for these 'spooky' things. Every little sound will be heard, all your senses will be better and you will hear or see these things.

The mind plays tricks on us when we are scared. They will show us images or make us hear things that are not even there. I'm really a 100% sure that your friends didn't see that green flying orb. There is another explanation for that, although I don't know what it is.

It's the same with people like 'Derek Oglive'. This guy claims to talk to the other world, and he tells you your grandfather just wants forgivness or something. You believe everything he says, just because you WANT to believe it. And with everything you say, your mind will find something that will fit in, and voíla, you have just spoken indirectly to you passed away dog!

As you can probably see from my post, I do NOT believe in ghosts, period.

 

It would be cool if they did, however I don't believe in that kind of stuff.

 

I think they exists, ever washed dishes and can feel the energy from something behind you and when you turn around nothing is there? Ever catch something at the corner of your eye? Even though the brain and the eyes are connected I think ghost might just exists.

 

No, I don't believe they do exist.But I have heard many story's from people.

I guess I won't believe in them until I actually see one myself.

 

all your memories, all information ever learned, your entire personality is entirely encapsulated within the activity within your brain.

there may be an energy that lives on, but there is definately no personality or memory that exists independent of the brain.

 

I had a VERY odd experience in the past that simply can not be explained which has led me to believe in ghosts.. I'd go into detail as to what happened but I'm tired at the moment and I'm going to bed lol.

 

Explain it tomorrow? I'm eager to read about it....:O.

Personally don't think they exist although i do find programs about ghosts rather interesting.

 

I think things. Unexplained things happen, but it's not for me to say if they are or aren't real.
