I doubt he would. They announced a few years ago that they have a million members, that was before the bot epidemic, so i am sure they have over that. So, whos to say hes making a solid 1mil a year? No need for him to do that.

For all we know..R2Pleasent can very well be Andrew Gower...lmfao. But, then again...Andrew Gower has a 200M+ irl cash contract on RuneScape, so, I doubt he would need that measely few thousand bonus, but, ehh....you never know.

 

He wouldn't need the money in the first place, so no, he wouldn't spawn himself cash and then RWT.

Him and his brother are net worth around $240,000,000.. and thats growing. If I was Andrew Gower i'd be too busy driving around Silverstone circuit in my brand new Audi R8..

 

He makes enough money as it is. I doubt he'd risk getting caught over a few thousand dollars when he owns a multi million dollar game.

 

There's no risk for him to sell his own game pixels....it's completely legal and it's not even easy for any of his staff members to catch him doing anything of that sort. So, no.

If the Gowers/Jagex started selling RSGP/in-game items/other things in-game for RL cash via micro transactions, they would make a killing. The only way I could see it not making a killing is because the game is not currently/was not made around micro transactions.

I hate games based around micro transactions, but from a business stand point it is lucrative as hell. Stupid FaceBook games like FarmVille rape people's wallets with them.
