Jagex selling gp for irl cash

Only a matter of time before Jagex or other games starts doing this perhaps?

 

Thats totally different, the diablo 3 auction how is run by the players not Blizzard.

 

It will not happen, this would crash the economy and the whole system.

 

I highly doubt they will, and if they do then RS is destroyed.

 

I doubt they will care alot about that (seeing as they've done ridiculious updates b4 that crashed the economy ingame), and they would get rid of lots of gold farmers and bots.

I'm not saying they WILL do this, but I think more games will do this in the future, possibly runescape aswell.

Agreed. If they do end up doing it, I wouldn't be surprised. They are a bunch of gold diggers.

 

if jagex did do this, they'd add a taxrate so they could profit, but i highly doubt they would.

If I were them, i wouldn't DIRECTLY sell it.

I would create one of those gold selling websites and do it and offer gold for like .3/M.

 

If they were to do it, they would have to it under their own name.
To make custumers feel secure and safe.

 

Jagex already makes loads of money off runescape, selling gold would be chump change to them.

 

Perhaps when they release a new game they might consider it.
I'm pretty sure this idea will be picked up by other developers.

 

Even if they did I'd bet their prices would be extremely high. I'd still buy off other members.

 

To be honest, it wouldn't be that profitable to them compared to how much they make with 1mil+ memberships.

 

There not going to do it, its already to easy to make money in this game.

 

If they are smart they'd just sell cheap via PA and ban all customers after.
No inflation, more RWTers/cash taken out of the game and more $$$.

Selling under their name would be so stupid.
You know how many months it took me to reach 1mil on runescape on my own back in the days? And what would their price be?

 

Kay, why would they do that? Selling from their name would make the buyer more safe.

They probably won't do it because it's just going to kill RS even more in my opinion.

 

Can be prevented via not using a email/Paypal linking you to RS + VPN and a mule account. I would fucking explode if I got caught RWT..
