Time to re-think.

The GFX Sales and Requests section.

There are WAY too many shops now, half of them aren't actual shops, they just made them so they could try and make easy cash. ( As geminipk said.)

If the thread isn't active, then isn't it considered spam? Because it basically is, and their shouldn't be one opening almost every week now. People are too spoilt for choice, don't know who to pick and then never get what they want.

Thoughts on this? Do you agree/Disagree?

 

I don't spend much time in the GFX section, but I don't really think it's that big of a deal. If you think there are a lot of shops in the GFX section, then check out any Runescape Market section. You still have graphic shops that remain on the first page when the last post is from yesterday. It's just a little more competition, and of course everyone wants to make money. In my eyes, the graphics section is still basically dead with all these shops. Most of these new shops that you're talking about are very amateurish and shouldn't present any problem to a professional shop. If the thread isn't active, then it'll just die on its own. I wouldn't consider it spam. If you did, it'd add even more pointless work for mods.

Josh, I do agree little with Nehkz.
It's not that it bothers me, but it does keep attracting those newer graphic artists that shouldn't be on here YET, instead, they should be in the gfx help section.

But that wasn't made clear in his OP

I guess the main thing that does annoy me about the GFX section is all the free shops
They make mediocre sigs but are good enough for most people who don't understand GFXing. I know when I just started that basic stuff seemed so good.

Why I don't bother trying to sell here anymore T.T

 

I'm strongly agree with you, obviously. I've been notice some of the thread ain't worth, they just wants to spam to get highly trusted, but it's wouldn't helpful. Who's created the thread GFX sections, without active on their shop, they're really stupid.

 

I think that it is equally fair that everbody gets the same oppertunities and experiences on sythe, There are NO guidelines as to who can who cannot open a store on sythe. Skill does not come into consideration. However, maybe there should be limitations on to who can and cannot open stores or simply make it a perk such as donor? I think the sales section of graphics is becoming over populated but I dont see this as a problem. I see it as the community growing. /RANT

 

If it'd be a donor-only perk, the graphics community will die.
Now, it doesn't matter to me that when people join the graphics community, even when they don't have any experience at all, but they shouldn't charge for them.
If they'd join the General GFX Talk section and be more active there they'd actually can get nice CnC for their work, instead of getting buffed out of the place, as you have to admit, most that join make works that look like they have photoshop for only two bloody weeks.
Opinions on this?

 

Honestly over half the people in this thread shouldn't have a shop yet.
