Movie Suggestions?

Hey. I'm bored and I just want to watch a good movie. I preferably want comedy, scary, or action movies, but I'm available to watch anything entertaining.

Can you guys suggest some good movies for me? If you can leave a little summary of the movie, that'd be great too. Thanks.

Also, please don't suggest movies that are in theaters.

OT: I suggest watching Point Break, its a really great action movie. Its about a rookie FBI agent who goes undercover as a surfer to try and stop a group of bank robbers. I saw it the other day and am still surprised on how good it was.

 

Heartbreak Ridge

 

I'd recommend seeing any of the following - Role Models, Pineapple Express, Disaster Movie, Super Troopers, or Blood Diamond...just some I remember enjoying.

I agree with above posters: Zombieland would be a great comedy and Insidious is a decent horror film.

If you're looking for something a little different, I'd check out the movie The Princess Bride. I watched it the other night with my girlfriend (her first time seeing it, and I've lost count) and it was great.
I've never seen anybody not enjoy that movie.

It's on several lists for top comedy films of all time.
The genre is pretty unique so you'll have to watch it to know exactly what I'm talking about. I guess one could say it's sort of an adult version of Shrek.

I don't have any current movies to recommend to you, but movies that are currently in theaters and recently in theaters can be found on GameKiller and they are streamable and they are DVD quality, not recorded by someone in the audience. Hope I helped!

When people ask me to suggest movies I alway say "The Legend of 1900".
But it is not comedy, scary, or action movie.
It is released in 1998. It's a story of a geniuses who was born on a ship, live on that ship, and died on that ship. He did never get off, don't want get off.


The other I want to recommend is "The Corpse Bride"
It's an animation. A romance between a living man and a female corpse. Maybe too simple. Touching, I think.
