Am I in the wrong?

So, I'm in Fally with my friends, and someone randomly trades me at the bank. I figure "what's up, probably got a drop?". The guy puts up an SGS and a Fury. I think "What?". He accepts, and it goes to the second trade screen. I figure he's just going to decline, and he accepts. Afterwards, I thank him, and walk away. He walks up to me 5 seconds later and says he accidentally traded it to me. I told him it's his own fault, and logged. Am I wrong?

 

Hahahaha you did the right thing. Idiots = Idiots. His goal was to make you feel stupid by making you happy to have a chance at getting such items. Now, he looks like a fool. CONGRATS!

 

Well, yes and no. It's a bit dishonest, but he did make the mistake. If it was me I'd have given it back, but I'm pretty old school (back in classic I gave a guy 5k and he gave me rune legs for it, first rune item I ever had. He told me that honor was more important than wealth, and took off).

 

You can't accidentally trade.

he was trying to get your hopes up and then crush them and he failed at that. he doesn't deserve to get his items back.

Ask yourself this, If you did the same thing, Would HE return the items.

If not, keep em.

 

Maybe he was rwt? And just didn't check the user, sometimes I get spam traded when I'm trying to trade a gp buyer.

If he just randomly traded you that, then he's either crazy, or loaded.

If you would've made that mistake , would anyone give you the items back ? Maybe 0.01% of the players would do a kind gesture . Now it just depends if you feel sorry for him and the 0.01% percentage includes you too , or not :nuts:

Yes you're in the wrong, it was a honest mistake and the only thing stopping you from giving them back was the way you were raised
