opinions on horoscopes?

just wondering what your opinions on are about horoscopes?
i usually read them once in the morning than once before i go to bed.

today mine said:The moon will befriend Great Saturn, bringing back an old acquaintance in a complely unexpected way.

than today i went swimming at the pool, which i hardly ever do. while i was there i met my best friend from elementary school who i havent seen in like 10 years.

i never thought i would ever see him again but today i did, i find it extremly wierd how my horoscope actually predicted it.

It was a co-incidence, really. You said you read yours like twice a day, right? Well, it's not that odd if it gets one right out of a hundred or so.

 

yeah but i read the same one twice a day just to see if it actually came true, could be a coincidence but i find that they unusual how spot on they actually are.

Coincidence, and many of them are pretty generic, and so easily fulfilled. I have no confidence in them whatsoever . . . Why would you believe them?

 

I think it's really interesting and all, but I just don't believe in these kind of things. Most horoscopes/fortune telling is so vague that it can mean multiple things.

I think all horoscopes are useless. Obviously if you check your horoscope daily its bound to get something right, especially considering how generalized they are.

 

horrorscopes are very simple, they say something general is going to happen.
like "this week will be very good"
then if something good happens during that week you think the horrorscope predicted your future

 

You know, that friend might come there every week, but you never notice him when you're around. Now that you came, searching for someone, you found him.

It's just like when you learn a new word, you see it everywhere it seems.

 

Well it's also psychological, so if it tells you you're going to meet someone you will whether conscious or not do as you read in order to fulfill your horoscope prediction.

 

I think it's nice to believe that you're going to have 'be extremely lucky' today.... yadda yadda yadda

But it's all a load of nonsense

 

As much as I hate admitting it, I can't help but draw parallels between things the Zodiac/horoscope and occurrences in my life.

 

I'm not one to put my faith in anything that doesn't involve me putting forth effort.

 

Don't read them, don't care really. If someone is reading theirs, I might wanna see mine though. I'll try to see if I can recognize anything in my day then.

 

Im a strong believer in horoscopes, but i dont read mine daily or anything, but when i do its usually right! what i do read alot are the different horoscopes signs, ive gotten pretty good at identifying peoples horoscope sign in only 3 years of reading about it. they also have different body types, and appeal to you in different ways. but every person is unique and the horoscopes arent always exact, but they are usually correct.

 

how is "you're going to find an old friend" general?

 

I love my horoscope, I get daily email and its positive, so I only care about being happy, barely remember the exact message, but I just know it will be a great day
