You can find the price check thread here.

I haven't taken a look in this thread for some time as I've got a horrible sense of value on many things Runescape related, but I've seen quite a few threads lately with people saying that no one ever responds to their posts so I decided to take a look.

First, RSGP is valued for donations at .35/m and .5/m for OMM applications (last time I checked) so the value should be changed from $3.00 to .4-.5.

    Second, make
    mandatory.

Going through a few pages, the only people who give answers are people who aren't selling any accounts, but are trying to help out. If we make it mandatory, many people will ignore the rule, but it will keep the thread "flowing" a bit better.

Support, this way things roll better in the thread.
And many people do not even have a clue how much the value is of any account someone wants a price check on.
That's the main reason people don't answear.
If i don't know the value of an account, i'm not going to say so, i don't want to give him fake information.

Well you can always search a bit and see if you can price check an account a page or so back, even if it has been answered before just to give that person a more definite answer.

Just something to prevent people from JUST posting their account, possibly multiple times and then complaining why it hasn't been answered.

True, now the thread is spammed over with mostly the same accounts that never got an answear.

In my honest opinion the thread is really shitty as it serves no purpose, seeing how it's full of requests and lacks answers. Might as well remove it completely.

Support, I was about to suggest the PC thing Myself. I do think it would be better to make it a market section though

You can't make it mandatory to reply to the post above, or people who want their own PC will simply toss out a random number; ie - "uh, $2. Me next!". Additionally, with accounts people generally want more than one opinion.

Finally, the whole thread is just a spam pile anyway. If people want to know what their account is worth, all they need to do is create a thread and see what offers they get. The only reason there's a stickied thread for price checks is so people don't post elsewhere.

You cannot have an official price-check, the price of the account is dependent on whether the user selling it is trusted, and the current market conditions [supply/demand]. People may offer whatever they like.

    No support.

Yea, plus with RS prices constantly fluctuating - how would you modify the price? Imo just letting people buy for however much they want is the best way to do it.
