Superhumans :o

There's show on the History channel titled 'Stan Lee's Super humans'
I used to watch it Thursdays @ 12:00 AM central time but IDK if they still give it at the same time.
Anyways, it's a pretty interesting show, just like anything on the History channel.
It's basically about Stan Lee (founder of Marvel) getting the World's most flexible man to search the goble for real life superhumans.
I've only seen about 2 or 3 episodes and it's pretty epic.
Few superhumans i've seen there:
'Marathon man' can literally run forever. (acids dont build up in his muscles and tissues so he doesn't get tired/cramp up/stop.)
A guy with an unbreakable skull. (Thicker than the average human)
A samurai that can cut a speeding bullet in half. (Bullets travel faster than sound so just imagine how much skill is needed)
The 'Human Stunt Gun (An MMA instructor that can Knock an opponent out without any type of physical contact)
Memory Man (Memorized the price of 100 items in a store, the exact price, at a different order than picked)
Splash Man (can dive from 40-50 feet into 12 inches of water. The average human would get killed by this)
And the 1-inch punch guy. They got a dummy with censors in it to detect the amount of force that was put into it. They did several tests but the one with the best results was the 1-inch-punch. Basically a punch to the chest from 1 inch away. The tests done reported the 1-inch-punch to be stronger than a hit by a car going 30 miles per hour.
And last but not least, a cowboy that's a really fast shooter and perfect aimer. He shot 2 balloons, from 6 feet away, the balloons 6 feet away from each other. He has to pull the gun from the hostler, cock it, shoot, cock it again, shoot again. He shot both balloons, and only 1 shot was heard/seen. But when seen in frame by frame you can see both shots, both a fraction of a second.

Anyways, I was discussing the Marathon man with a mate, because he set a goal (world record) to run from coast to coast (United States.)
He does an 8 minute mile (jogging.) So let's just say that he wouldn't need to stop for food/sleep or anything (We all know this is impossible, let's just say.)
Can someone do the math of how long it would take him to run from coast to coast? A little thing though, if you get the miles from coast to coast it isn't actually right because there isn't a highway that goes completely straight from coast to coast, it curves and what not. So if anyone is smart enough to do the math for this (I can literally do it in my head, just CBA.)

And well I really suggest watching the show or at least the videos on youtube. It's pretty fucking awesome.

 

Is it like genetic defects that enable them to do this then? or certain conditions and stuff?

 

Yes, they have all been proved by doctors to be genetically different.

I've seen it before. I think some of that stuff is pretty sick. That human stun gun guy is sorta like this dude
