Minecraft / Classic

I'm suggesting that we add a subtext/description to the "Minecraft General" section of the forums. It is just a small cosmetic change, and so I hope that it can be done easily.

The text could be something as simple as "Discuss Minecraft here."


I'm also suggesting we cut down the Runescape Classic sections. At the moment there is Runescape Classic General, Runescape Classic Cheating, and Runescape Classic Pictures.
Combined, these sections have a whopping 3,834 posts in 202 threads and are just a general spamfest.

My suggestion is to merge them into one section, called Runescape Classic.
Leaving it with 2 sections, "Runescape Classic" and "Runescape Classic Cheating" would also appear to be a viable option - as the Cheating section is somewhat more unique and valuable than the Classic General and Pictures sections.

 

Yeah the Minecraft General section really needs a description, maybe just shorten the name of the section to Minecraft.

For Runescape Classic it should be reduced to one section as you said, 3 sections for an almost dead game is too much.

I would like to see a Server Advertisement section added to the MC general, Maybe Mods and Texture Pack section too :>

 

Wouldn't be a bad idea to add those. Servers would be easier to find.

I support the runescape classic suggestions because those forums are pretty much dead. I also support the minecraft suggestion, just because it is a minor change and will look better

That would be feasible, yes. Server section is definitely worth it imo, mods and texture packs would probably also get attention.

I totally agree with you about the MC section as well, it's the odd one out atm, and it looks weird.

 

I agree to both. I mean, classic can easily be merged, and MineCraft requires some attention, as the game is popular, and so the discussion is/will be too.
