Why does "friendly" staking option even exist?

Honestly, it seems like such an unnecessary feature.

People that do stake regularly have to deal with another interface window. This can become especially annoying when all the arenas are full so you have to re-do everything.

It makes absolutely no sense--this "friendly" duel could just be accomplished by both players not staking anything...

Is there something I am not getting? Why is the "friendly" stake option even in existance?

 

ANY other world generally has 2-25 friendly stakers.

If there are friendly stakers they could just not stake anything and it accomplishes the same thing...

 

Because it's Jagex, and things that make sense usually don't get added to the game.

I'd suggest you put this on the official forums, but then I doubt Jagex would even look at it.

I see your point, and agree that it can be quite annoying, however the majority of people that go to the duel arena aren't your typical 10bil phat stakers.

If there was a way I could support this, I would.

Sense isn't something Jagex Moderators have.

 

If your staking and get a friendly duel you wouldn't accept it. If theres one option you wouldnt know if people are challenging for a staked wager or a friendly one. Did that make sence?
