Donation Perks - WTF

What is the point of donating to get perks when your UT is hardly changed?
I see admin posting all around the spam forum, yet they can't take a few minutes to change someone's requested perk adjustment?
Its been over a week..

^ I wouldn't do that. They may get annoyed at your impatience. But really it should be done more often.

Sorry that the staff are instant and snap to everything that you ask for, I thought when you donate, its meant to be for the cause and not for the perks anyway?

why do you care so much about what your user title says anyways, just wait and you will get what you want.

 

If perks are offered for a donation, it's not unreasonable to expect them to be filled in a reasonable amount of time. It only takes a few minutes I would think to check that thread. He's not asking for instant gratification, he posted over a week ago.

Or at least say on the donator page, "If you need a usertitle change, it may take longer than a week to be implemented."

 

Actually, Karl, UT requests would be done much faster before. And if you offer something in return for a donation, it's not wrong of us to expect it to be fulfilled within a decent time frame.

 

Agreed. The reason most people donate is for the "little words" so that they can show that they're somewhat trusted to their customers.

Probably because of the vB version we have. If only Sythe upgraded, we could have so many features but noooo. Meh, I've gotten used to this.

 

The Admins are really busy, so it's only fair to give them time to do it.

You guys should see the UT and UI request periods for staff, its much longer.

I'll just note guys, we normally have priorities, Admins obviously have other higher priorities than changing UT's

 

Assigning an admin to do them every day for 5 minutes wouldn't be too difficult...

 

Why not give people who donate above a certain amount a mask to be able to change it them self? That can't be a huge pool of people to where they could still be monitored and instead of you guys doing it for them, you could just monitor them occasionally. Have rules and guidelines and if they are abused the privilege is taken away.

 

What rsaccounttrader is saying, it's not a big of a deal to check the thread occasionally.
Maybe assign another mod to do this, since Giverny is busy irl.

Did you even read the OP? He has a terrible attitude, I wasnt going to respond kindly.

Its just a usertitle, as I said. the admin who normally does them (the ones you guys are going on able who is assigned to them, or whatever (which isnt going to happen, lol..)) Is away.

 

Support pretty much what Video says. If it's going to take over a week, simply mention it when people donate.

I also agree with rsaccountrrader, you have to donate a reasonable amount in order to have the option to have a UI etc. as one of your perks. In doing this you are helping to support the site.

$50+ donations from what I can see, are not that common.
Admin/mods do have a role to play in the site, and I can't see taking less than 5 minutes in 1 week is that big-a deal, to change such a small thing in return for that particular person donating $50+ to the site, regardless of their motives to donate.

 

Meh, it'll happen when it happens. I posted mine 2 days ago, not too worried about when I get it.
Not a big part of anything anyways.
