paypal questions

Im pretty new to these forums and have made a couple of trades. many of which have been scams.
so i have a question about using paypal as a way to transfer funds.
-how long does it take to get funds from another paypal user. my account is verified and connected to my bank accounts and what not.

Takes literally seconds. I would not suggest using paypal unless using player auctions. Way to easy to be scammed using paypal.

use player auctions if your a seller they can buy through it, also you can use free omms or mms if your trading low values just make sure they are legit

 

Use PayPal direct if trading with a well trusted user on the site.
Use PayPal with PlayerAuction (PA) when dealing with less trusted/not trusted users.

PlayerAuction fees are high though but its still good, better safe than sorry.
It also requires personal details such as phone numbers though.

 

Even then you should still use PA, trusted users can scam as history has told us.

 

I guess I should have used highly trusted as that's what I meant. People like RS2Pleasant, Video, Viou, etc.

 

Buy from trusted people and you wont get scammed either with paypal or wester union.

 

Yea, also if your new and following the stickies - claim and cancel isn't a really effective means of protecting $ anymore. Imo PayPal is fairly unsafe all around unless sent by a trusted individual.
