I bought a volumedrive just to test it out because I thought it was too good to be true. Well, it is.

I was running 4 bots on the 4gb plan, and they banned me for "resource abuse".

You can only use Xen for botting, or else they will discontinue your service.

I bet they use openvz or something similar. Openvz is where everyone shares resources, and botting is very intensive on bandwith. Use photon's Xen next time ;)!

Don't blame it on openvz =p It's up the provider and you can tell by the prices generally.

Also it's not bandwidth intensive but it is heavy on the CPU and memory.

I personally own VPSInfinity.com. Been in business since April 5th, 2011 and have grown exponentially since. Recently, we've ordered all new nodes (New Sandybridge E3-1230 processors 16GB of ram using Xen PV) and many of our customers have stated these are the best servers they've ever used.

    Servers come pre-setup with:
    Java
VNC Server (Starts up on boot of course) w/ KDE GUI
    Nexus
    RSBuddy
    PowerBot
    EpicBot

All servers are now instant activation :) We're currently sold out but will be adding more nodes shortly - already ordered the hardware and are waiting on the shipment to come in.

    Check us out

My bad on the bandwidth, but i stand by my statement on openvz. I will never order from a company using openvz. I know seershost uses vz and that generates your oppinion. vz is cheaper but as I keep saying, you get what you pay for if you catch my drift ;)

Ok. So, I am super new with the VPS thing. I bought KMJT's guide, but it isn't too clear on how to set it up. But, anyways, it says I have to enter in ssh -1 (username) and main ip after that. So, I do that, but every connection thing I use requires frickin dial up?! I don't have dial up, and I don't know which one to choose, because all of them don't work. I really need a lot of assistance, if someone could pm me, or post on here, would really appreciate it :)

So I was about to buy a seerhost silver plan, but I realized the only payment option I can use is paypal.
Also on topic: What's better photonvps or seerhost all I need is a vps that can run a 2-4 bots for my skill training business.
One with no hassle, and I can monitor from my macbook.

You would run out of ram well before hitting the limit. Warp 1 can run 1 bot. To estimate the ram used, do 500 mb per non intensive bot and 1 gb for intensive (aka sw). Unless you're using rsbuddy, which I heard requires at least a warp 3 because you need 2 gb to launch. I dont use rsbuddy so I don't know for sure.

Well, Photon uses paypal as payment, just be sure to use Xen ;)

To your question, I'm a photon user and supporter so I'd say photon is. If you ask any of the seershost fanboys from above, they'll say seershost. I originally had the same issue as you (paypal as the only payment option) so I turned to Photon and let me say, their 99.9% up time is not a joke. I think 1nce in the past 3 months have I had an issue, created a ticket and it was fixed right away. I'm glad I went with photon.

User SeerHost and you won't run into that problem.

They have all the clients already installed and an easy guide to start you up.

    Just bought a seerhost vps.

Guys I'm still confused on what VPS I should
buy to run my soul wars bot...
I'm currently using the RSBuddy premium
    soul wars script (by peach)...
Someone told me that RSBuddy scripts
    are more CPU/Resource intensified.

which one should I go for?/

I need help. I'm not new to the botting world, but I am COMPLETLY new to VPS's. The only thing I really know about them is what they are :S Here is some questions I have, all answers will be apprieciated.

    1. What is the best VPS to run 20 bots off of?
    2. Can I use 1 Vps and run bots off 2 computers?
    3. Where should I buy a VPS for 10+ bots?
    4. How much will a VPS that I need cost?
    5. IF 1 account gets banned, do they all?
    6. Are VPS's hard to use?

    1) You're looking more at a server rather than a vps. If you want mutliple vpses you can pull off 21 with 3 Xen warp 4s.
    2) Sure! it's like a seperate computer in itself. Your coputer doesn't even need to be on! Just make sure you have seperate auths for each computer/vps.
    3) Well if you want 10+ bots, you'll need a server more than likely, since most providers only have up to 4 gigs (7-8 bots max)
    4) Depends where you buy. You get what you pay for. If you pay $3 to run 20 bots, you'll get terrible service. I reccomend photon or seershost (but if you can only use paypal, you have to do photon out of the two).
    5) No. You should know this from botting ;) only way you get banned on all is if they are same world and they do a raid and bust em all. Or if you bot in a stupid place like sorc garden, you're just asking to be banned.
    6) At first, a little. But, if you follow a guide you'll have no problem! I'm far from a computer tech guy and I use mine with ease.

Anything else just let me know!
