First teleport to lumbridge, talk to hans.


Speak with him and say what are you doing here.


He will talk for a bit then your chat will stop look in your chat box

it will say how long untill you can purchase the veteran cape,

from there deduct the amount of days of 1825 days. 1825 days is 5 years ,

ones you have done that you will preety much calculate backwards the amount

of days that you have from your current date.


For example Today is the 24/07/2011

Hans say's i will be able to get my cape in 105 days

i take 105 days of 1825 which = 1720

each number represents a day therefore the account was made

around this date= 04-15 2006

Note my math for the example is a ruff and quick example but you have the idea.

But lets say if you have the Cape already... so will Han still tell you the info?

 

^ No, He will simply say "I will sell you a veterans cape" not that "You have been a member for 67000000 days."

It might not be a bug, but i dont think they are going to want people knowing when a account was created now woukld they?

because then people can get the age of an account, look in google "how can i find out how old my account is" it will come up with "only a j mod knows" its imposible etc etc.

oh and if any1 says wby mesages well they get cleand every 3 months.

then it wont work >.< but if you ever purchase or just want to find out a date which your account was created just do this method and your problem is solved!
