Botscout?

So I logged onto my Runescape account and I saw that the IP address was different from mine. I didn't pay too much attention but then later in the day when I logged on again it said I had logged in from a previous IP address that was not mine again. It was the same IP I had saw earlier so I decided to look it up and I came to a website called Botscout (I have botted on this account numerous times). I was curious if anyone could tell me more about it or if they themselves have seen this. Its supposedly "proactive bot detection, screening, and banning". I think Runescape might be on to me so I should lay low on the bots for this account for awhile.

 

That's weird, I've heard nothing like that. Are you sure to have not downloaded anything that you don't remember of?

Also, scan your computer just to be safe.

 

No, not that I can think of and I'm doing a scan right now.

 

That doesn't sound like Jagex.

 

I would change your account passwords on another computer. It sounds like they're waiting for you to do something such as leave expensive items in your inventory.

 

Even right now its still doing it. I can log out then right back in and it will just say you logged in earlier today from this IP address. I can log out for 2 seconds and it will tell me that. So I don't think its a person or people trying to hack into my account but maybe Jagex could have a bot detection system none of us are aware of and they are just keeping an eye on my account? But I don't know. There is also a list on the website of previous banned bot accounts. Never seen anything like it.

Botscout is not a runescape bot website at all. It's a website bot - look it up on the internet.

This site has nothing to do with runescape.

STOP THE BOTS

 

You register to runescape, they have your ip and can see what your doing, the storing of an ingame account is no different than a forum account except the game accounts have stat saves and all that

 

Botscouts is for bots that register accounts on multiple websites online. not just for runescape.
