So I want to start hosting dice duels

But I don't know where to start. I'm not rich enough to pay any of the clans for a host rank because I got scammed the other day, and my app for Hammered Dicing just got rejected >.<

How should I go around trying to host? Should I make my own clan? Should I try to buy rsgp and then make it back by hosting?

 

It's not very easy to just host dice duels. The only established dice duel clan is Dragon Dyce, and it's very hard to get another clan in the same league.

I suggest you just buy a rank in DD/HD.

 

Well, I have nowhere the 3B needed for DD, and HD is going to cost 250M which I have nowhere either

And I can't buy RSGP, I just remembered my paypal is limited at zero

Even hosting 55x2 when people played me would be good, but because of the low combat on my pure nobody plays me

 

Bot up 250M if you really want to host.

 

Don't use PayPal for your RSGP then, buy it via Western Union. You will get a better price that way as well, and it opens up the option to buy from more sellers (because of the mass of them that dont take PayPal).

For $250 (plus a small Western Union fee) you can get almost 500M, that will be enough for you to buy a rank and still have some money left over for incase you need to make payouts (if you do 55x2).

 

I'd suggest buying RSGP via. WU, or Mail (cheapest rate) from a highly trusted seller. Believe me, you make it back so quickly.

 

55/60x2 is not worth it, I've seen people who host get cleaned time after time until the rage and scam

 

start your own dice clan charge people for trust then get known.

 

Hmm, I'll see how Hammered Dicing is doing in September when I come back, then I'll decide if I really want to spend $250 on it

Also: How would you bot up 250M decently quickly? =O

 

Buy a goldfarming guide/bot frost dragons on a couple of accounts.

 

Hmm, but for that I'd need to first make the accounts, I have no idea how to do that, and then I'd need to buy a VPS or something to bot the accounts on.

The only realistic way of becoming a host would be to as suggested above, buy some rsgp via w/u and then with that money, buy a host in a reputable Dicing clan.

 

You can't buy a rank within Dragon Dyce - that's why none of the hosts scam, as you have to put in effort to become one.

With all of the already established giant dicing clans, it would be near impossible to start your own without a very large backing of either wealth, or popular Runescapers.

Your best bet would to get in one either on Sythe or buy a spot in a large clan, once you start to become well known as a legitimate host, you can break off and start a clan of your own.
